We, the Jesus Is Lord Church Worldwide, stand firm in its belief that God is a powerful God, able to calm even the strongest storm. Still, we believe in the importance of exercising Godly wisdom especially in circumstances such as what we have now.

Thus, given the strong typhoon raging against our country, we have decided to prioritize the safety of our members, whom the Lord has entrusted under our care. For this reason, we have advised all JIL members to stay at home.

In our commitment to be God’s voice amidst the chaos of this world, a simpler, yet not less meaningful celebration will still push through, the details of which will be announced later. This, to give the glory due the God who has been faithful to us for the past 44 years and, also, to point everyone, especially to those being ravaged by this storm, to the God who alone is the source of all hope.

We believe that the God of hope will keep everyone safe in His powerful and loving hands.
