Ipinagdiriwang natin ang ika-60 World Day of Social Communications kasabay ng Feast of the Ascension noong nakaraang Mayo 17 (Linggo). Ginanap rin sa araw na ito ang Commissioning for Renewal of Commitment ng mga Social Communications and Media Ministry sa ibaโ€™t ibang parokya ng Diocese of Novaliches. Ating kinikilala at pinapahalagahan ang mga social communicators na buong naglalaan ng kanilang panahon, talento, pagod, at dedikasyon upang maihatid ang Mabuting Balita sa mas maraming tao sa pamamagitan ng media at digital platforms.

Pagpupugay sa lahat ng mga SOCCOMM, media volunteers, photographers, writers, editors, broadcasters, at production teams na naging daluyan ng ebanghelisasyon sa digital age.

Maraming salamat sa inyong paglilingkod. Patuloy nating gamitin ang media hindi lamang upang magbahagi ng impormasyon, kundi upang magdala ng pag-asa, pagkakaisa, at presensya ni Kristo sa bawat tahanan at puso.

05.31.2026 | SCYM TAIZE PRAYER

For this 4th Taizรฉ, I personally requested to be the one to lead because I felt like I needed to vent out all the emotions stuck inside me. Through this prayer, I was finally able to tell Him the things I had been keeping within-things I felt no words could ever truly describe. During the veneration of the cross, I just let myself be. I allowed Him to see me vulnerable and trusted Him wholeheartedly, because He knows how much time Iโ€™ve spent being hard on myself, mistakenly thinking that pressure would make me improve faster when it really just made me tired. He saw me broken, afraid of failure, and holding back as I waited for the perfect moment and the perfect version of myself. But He taught me that life doesn't work that way, a truth I only fully understood after talking to Him: growth is messy. These days, I am trying to be more patient with myself because real growth takes time. Through the discomfort and the small moments that nobody else sees, He is always there, waiting for us to speak to Him and let go of the things holding us back.

Being in that quiet space reminded me of Philippians 1:6, which says, 'He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.' For so long, I thought I had to force myself to be complete right now, carrying the heavy burden of my own perfection. But kneeling before the cross made me realize that I am still a work in progress, and that is exactly how He wants me. I donโ€™t have to rush the process or fear failure, because my growth doesnโ€™t rely on my own frantic pressure-it relies on His faithful, gentle timing.

Congratulations, Rev. Fr. Dom Bulan, SJ!

It feels like only yesterday that you first became part of our Sta. Cruz Chapel family, and now we have the joy of witnessing you take this another beautiful milestone in your vocation. What a privilege it has been to journey with you over the past four years.

Thank you for everything you have done for us. Through your presence, guidance, and service, you have touched countless lives and helped our community grow in faith and love.

Thank you for every Mass celebrated, every word of encouragement shared, every prayer offered, and every moment you walked with us. You have been more than a Jesuit scholastic to our community... you have been a true blessing, a brother, and a friend.

We are incredibly proud of you and we rejoice as you begin this new chapter of your vocation as an ordained priest. While we will miss seeing you regularly in our chapel, we are excited for all the lives you will continue to serve and inspire in your new mission.

As you go wherever God calls you, please remember that Sta. Cruz Chapel will always be your home. Our doors, our hearts, and our prayers will always be open for you. No matter how far your mission takes you, you will always have a family here waiting to welcome you back with warm hugs and grateful hearts.

May God continue to bless your priesthood and use you as an instrument of His love and mercy.

Sa panahon kung saan mabilis ang takbo ng teknolohiya at halos lahat ay kayang gawin sa isang pindot, nawaโ€™y hindi mawala ang pinakamahalagang koneksyonโ€”ang tunay na boses, tunay na mukha, at tunay na puso ng bawat tao.

Sa pagdiriwang ng ika-60 na World Communications Day, bilang kabataan, tayo ay tinatawagan hindi lamang upang magsalita, kundi upang maging tinig ng katotohanan, pag-asa, at pagmamahal sa mundong puno ng ingay at pagkukunwari. Sa likod ng bawat post, larawan, video, at mensahe ay may taong naghahangad na marinig, maintindihan, at mahalin.

Gamitin natin ang ating mga plataporma hindi upang manira, kundi upang magbigay-buhay; hindi upang magpanggap, kundi upang maging totoo; at hindi upang magpalaganap ng galit, kundi upang maging daluyan ng liwanag ni Kristo.

Bilang kabataang Kristiyano, piliin nating pangalagaan ang dignidad ng bawat taoโ€”ang kanilang boses, kwento, damdamin, at pagkatao. Dahil sa mundong unti-unting nilalamon ng artipisyal na koneksyon, ang tunay na komunikasyon ay nagsisimula pa rin sa pusong marunong makinig, umunawa, at magmahal.

Nawa'y patuloy tayong magbahagi ng mabuting balita sa bawat isa.
