Last April 30, 2026, our hearts gathered around the beautiful truth found in Matthew 7:16, โBy their fruit you will recognize them.โ ๐ฟ
Through the message โMore than a Good Impressionโ shared by Pastora Abigail Aquino, we were reminded that while the world often focuses on appearance, reputation, and how we are seen by others, God lovingly looks far beyond the surface. He sees the condition of our hearts โ the place where true character and genuine fruit begin to grow.
The story of Absalom became a powerful reflection for all of us. Though admired by many because of his outward appearance and charm, his heart slowly carried pride, bitterness, and unforgiveness. His story reminded us how wounds left unhealed can quietly lead us away from Godโs will. Yet even through this warning, we were also reminded of Godโs grace โ that the Lord continually invites us to return to Him with humility, repentance, and hearts willing both to forgive and to seek forgiveness.
That evening became more than just a gathering. It was a sacred moment where hearts were softened before God. Through worship, fellowship, and the preaching of His Word, burdens were surrendered, tears were lifted into prayer, and lives were gently reminded that true beauty is not found in making a good impression on people, but in living a life that reflects Christ.
May we continue to bear fruit that honors the Lord โ not seeking applause from the world, but desiring hearts that faithfully reflect His love, grace, and truth wherever He calls us. ๐ค
