Hope is alive because he has risen.
This Easter Sunday, we honor a love that never gave up on us rather than just an empty tomb. His resurrection serves as a reminder that no suffering, failure, or brokenness ever marks the end of our story—from darkness to light, from death to life.

Reflection:
There are moments when life seems overwhelming, as if everything is collapsing and there is no way to move forward. However, Easter serves as a reminder that every day is a fresh start. We can overcome our hardships and come out stronger and more resilient, just like Jesus did. The light will come, even if it doesn't happen right away. God is still crafting your tale, so hold on.

We dwell in the quiet between grief and optimism today. Black Saturday brings back memories of that silent time when all seemed to be lost, when the answers were nowhere to be found and the gloom felt heavy.

However, God is still at work in that silence.

Reflection:
There are days in our lives that are quiet, unpleasant, and unsure, much like Black Saturday. However, this day teaches us to have faith even when we are waiting. Because there will be a resurrection following every period of silence and darkness.

Today, we remember a love that chose to suffer… a love that chose to stay… a love that chose us, even at the cost of everything.
In the silence of this day, we are invited to pause, not just to remember the cross, but to understand it.
Jesus carried not only the weight of the wood, but the weight of our sins, our failures, and our brokenness. And still, He said “It is finished.”

Reflection:
Sometimes, we look at the cross and see pain, but if we look closer, we’ll see love. A love that forgives even when it hurts. A love that stays faithful even when it’s hard. A love that calls us to do the same.

May this Good Friday remind us that in our own suffering, we are never alone—and that even in the darkest moments, God is already working for our redemption.

| The Young Franciscan Advocates—Novaliches traveled together in faith, prayer, and introspection beneath the parishes of the Our Lady of Mercy Vicariate on March 31, Holy Tuesday, during our Visita Iglesia.

We offered the Lord not just our intentions but also our experiences, hardships, and thankfulness as we traveled from church to church. Every stop served as a reminder that God speaks to us even when we are silent and that He travels with us.

Maundy Thursday acts as a reminder of selfless love.

Today, we commemorate how Jesus knelt to wash the feet of His disciples, acting as a servant among them rather than as a king over them. He opted for humility, presence, and unselfish love in a world that frequently wants fame and power.

Reflection:
Love can sometimes be found in small acts of service, such as listening, forgiving, and showing up even when things are difficult, rather than in large gestures. May we learn to love in deeds as well as words, just like Jesus did. May we be brave enough to serve others, humble ourselves, and show them the same love that God has shown us.

"Love each other as I have loved you."

To all of our cherished AY 2025–2026 graduates and high performers,

In addition to medals, diplomas, and certificates, it is a celebration of your journey. You've reached this point through all of your hardships, late nights, and small successes.

You have demonstrated courage in the face of difficulty, endurance in the face of sluggish advancement, and faith in the face of doubt. You are now more resilient, intelligent, and ready for what lies ahead.

As you go out on fresh beginnings, take with you the lessons learned, the experiences you had, and the people who supported your development. This is not the finish, but rather a beautiful step toward your goals.

We are incredibly admiring all of you. Congratulations class of, 2025–2026!

| April 1

Today, we remember the quiet betrayal—the moment when love was traded for silver, and trust was broken in the shadows.

Sometimes, we look at Judas and think, “I would never do that. ”But if we’re honest, there are moments when we also choose convenience over conviction, silence over truth, and self over love.

Holy Wednesday invites us not to judge, but to reflect.
To ask ourselves: In what ways have I turned away from Jesus? And more importantly: How can I return?

Even in betrayal, God’s mercy remains.
Even in our weakness, His love does not give up on us.

Let today be a quiet return. A sincere “I’m sorry.” A step back to Him.
