โChoose Your Hard" ๐ช๐ป
๐ Philippians 4:10-14:
"11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content."
๐ก Mahirap ba mag-aral? Mahirap ba abutin ang mga pangarap mo? Life is full of challenges, but the truth is, we choose our hard. Whether itโs the struggle of studying or working, we face difficulties no matter what. What matters is the kind of "hard" we chooseโdo we choose to push toward growth and excellence, o pipiliin nalang ba nating manatili nalang sa ating kinalalagyan?
Meron tayong 3 Steps of Excellence:
โญ We Study to Learn
โข Tulad sa paglalaro ng volleyball, we practice and train to improve and to master new skills. If you ask most people why they play, theyโll say itโs because they want to get better and learn more. Ganito rin sa lahat ng aspeto ng ating buhay. We study to gain wisdom and knowledge, understanding that the challenges we face now will equip us for the future. In every situation, we choose to put in the work, knowing that this path will lead us to growth, discipline, and wisdom.
๐ผ Proverbs 9:9
"9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning."
โญ We Practice Toward Excellence
โข Itโs natural for us to strive for excellence, but the journey is never easy. The hard part is staying committed and disciplined, but thatโs where true growth happens. We practice with the understanding that everything we do is for the greater glory of God. Whatever difficulty we face, we choose to pursue excellence, knowing that without the Lord, we can do nothing.
๐ผ Colossians 3:23
"23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men."
โข Weโre reminded in this verse to do everything as if we are doing it for God, hindi lang para sa ating sarili o para sa iba. Our hard work is for His greater glory, and it is never in vain.
โญ We Listen to Excel in the Knowledge of Our Lord Jesus Christ
โข Most importantly, we choose to listen to His Word, to our pastorโs teachings, to our devotions. By being attentive to His word, we excel in our relationship with God. The journey of growing in faith is difficult, but through listening, we gain wisdom and strength, upang matutunan ang kanyang kalooban at plano para saatin. This is where our spiritual discipline develops. We continually choose to grow in our relationship with God, kung kahit bilang isang Kristyanong Kabataan, masasabi natin mahirap ito.
๐ผ 2 Peter 3:18
"18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever."
โSo, Choose Your Hard. Kapag nakita mo ang sarili mo sa isang mahirap na sitwasyon, alalahanin mo na kakayanin mo hanggang sa dulo, dahil naririyan lang ang guidance ng Panginoon sa atin. When you choose to study, practice, and listen with excellence and faith, youโll find that the hard you chose was worth it all along. In all things, we are empowered by God to endure and succeed. With Him, every challenge is a stepping stone to greater things.โ๐ท
