❤️ SSDM Outreach Program ❤️
Today, the Social Services Development Ministry (SSDM) of the Parish of Mary the Immaculate Conception had the opportunity to share a simple meal, hygiene kits, prayers, and a little hope with our brothers and sisters in the correctional facility

My heartfelt thanks to Tiny Torres, our PPC Coordinator; Tin Tayag, Assistant Coordinator; Justice Ministry Atty. Cherry Castillo; Rafael Dela Cruz, Urban Poor Coordinator; Jose Alfon, SSDM Volunteer; and Robert Diaz, our Worship Leader, who shared a meaningful inspirational message.

Thank you all for helping and supporting me in making this outreach possible. 🙏❤️

It may be a simple outreach, but together, we were able to share love, compassion, and hope.

From the Gospel today, August 23, 2026

“Every day, at every moment in history, we must always take this question to heart. If we want to keep our identity as Christians from being reduced to a relic of the past, as Pope Francis often reminded us, it is important to move beyond a tired and stagnant faith. We need to ask ourselves: Who is Jesus Christ for us today? What place does he occupy in our lives and in the life of the Church? How can we bear witness to this hope in our daily lives and proclaim it to those whom we meet?”
-Pope Leo XIV

Maraming salamat at mabuhay ang Simbakuran! 🌱

From the Gospel today, August 16, 2026

“Faith opens us to knowing and welcoming the real identity of Jesus, his newness and oneness, his word, as a source of life, in order to live a personal relationship with him. Knowledge of the faith grows, it grows with the desire to find the way and in the end it is a gift of God who does not reveal himself to us as an abstract thing without a face or a name, because faith responds to a Person who wants to enter into a relationship of deep love with us and to involve our whole life.”
-Pope Benedict XVI

Parish of Mary, the Immaculate Conception: Walking with Migrant Families

PMIC continues to support migrants and their families through our Migrants Ministry, journeying with them in faith, hope, and love.

Under the CBCP-ECMI and the Diocese of Cubao, the PMIC Migrants Ministry provides wholistic pastoral care to migrants and their families—helping strengthen their faith, nurture family relationships, and promote a life of dignity.

🌿 Our Vision:
“Strengthened migrant families journeying towards a stronger faith and living with dignity.”

As one parish community, we walk with our migrant brothers and sisters, reminding them that they are never alone in their journey. 🙏💙
