PALAWAN MISSION UPDATES – MAY 1, 2026

IT’S LABOR DAY!

The Palawan Team, BCAPI Staff, and other SBF workers had a wonderful time enjoying the beauty of God’s creation. Before enjoying the refreshing river, everyone first spent time in individual devotion, reflecting on God’s goodness and experiencing His presence through the beauty of nature.

After the devotion, the team enjoyed swimming, playing games, and spending quality fellowship together. It was a joyful and refreshing time for everyone after days of ministry work.

After the “buong” experience, the team enjoyed eating one of Palawan’s well-known dishes, Chaolong noodles.

In the afternoon, the team traveled to Sinletan. Along the way, we did not miss the opportunity to stop and take pictures by the beautiful West Philippine Sea, appreciating another wonderful creation of God.

The journey to Sinletan was challenging because the road was not passable by bus, so the team experienced a long walk to reach the place. Despite the difficulty, everyone remained joyful and encouraged.

In the evening, after devotion time, the team packed relief goods that will be distributed during the Sunday service. Truly, even on Labor Day, the team continued to serve the Lord with willing hearts and joyful spirits.

To God be all the glory!

PALAWAN MISSION UPDATES – APRIL 30, 2026

Another day, another opportunity to serve the Lord!

The Palawan team continued their mission work with joyful hearts and willing hands. The YnA (Yakap ng Ama) team carried on with the installation of the fencing at BCA Palawan. We witnessed the hard work and dedication of the fathers who carried heavy materials under the heat of the sun just to help build and improve the place. Their service reminds us that every labor done for the Lord is never in vain.

At the same time, the Worship Team conducted a training for the youth of Sagpangan Bible Fellowship. Through music and dance, they shared the gifts and talents that God has entrusted to them. It was a beautiful moment of teaching, fellowship, and encouragement as the young people learned how to use their talents to glorify God.

After the training, a simple program was held where the youth presented what they had learned. We also appreciate the WoW and YnA teams for being part of the program and for sharing their talents in singing and dancing. Truly, it was a joyful celebration of God’s goodness and creativity.

Though it was a sunny and tiring day filled with ministry and hard work, the team still found time to enjoy fellowship together. Amidst the laughter, service, and worship, we were reminded that the joy of the Lord is our strength.

To God be all the glory!

PALAWAN MISSION UPDATES – APRIL 29, 2026

This was a day filled with ministry as the team actively served the people.

Part of the Palawan team went to visit the Batak tribe in Sitio Kalakwasan, Brgy. Tanabag, Puerto Princesa, Palawan. There, we witnessed the lives of three teachers who have been living in the community for over 20 years. They chose to stay and dedicate their lives to educating the tribe, even though they had opportunities to pursue corporate careers. We were truly amazed by their commitment and sacrifice.

To reach the community, the team crossed 8 rivers showing just how remote and isolated the tribe is from the modern world.

While some were ministering to the Batak tribe, the remaining members of the Palawan team continued with house visitations. At the same time, the YnA (Yakap ng Ama) team began building fences at BCA Palawan.

After lunch, the team conducted learning pods and held a youth gathering, continuing to share God’s Word and encourage the next generation.

Despite the day being full of work for the Lord, the team remained joyful and strengthened, knowing that every effort was for His glory and for the people He loves.

PALAWAN MISSION UPDATES - APRIL 27, 2026

After a safe landing at Puerto Princesa International Airport, the team wasted no time. They immediately went to the local market to purchase essential supplies for the days ahead. These included not only food for the team, but also relief goods to be shared with our brethren in Palawan.

Once everything was prepared, the team carried all the supplies up the mountain. It was not an easy journey, but through it, we witnessed the incredible strength and endurance that God placed in their hearts.

Despite the physical challenges, their passion to serve and bless others remained unwavering. Truly, this mission is a testament to faith in action and love expressed through sacrifice.

PALAWAN MISSION UPDATES - 04|28|2026

The Palawan Team, composed of Breakthrough Church, Sower Church of Jesus, and BCA Teachers and Staff, continues to witness God’s amazing work in the mission field.

The morning activity of the Palawan Team began with house visitation. The team was divided into two groups so that we could reach more families in Sitio Yayabu, Brgy. Aborlan, Palawan. Though the road was long and challenging, every step reminded us of God’s strength and grace. As we met the people in their homes, we witnessed His glory moving in their lives.

After the long walk, we conducted BCA Learning Pods for the students. It was a meaningful time of growth, as new knowledge and wisdom were shared with every BCAPI student. This was led by our dedicated BCA QC teachers, whom God used as instruments of learning and encouragement.

We also held a JFC Children’s Ministry and a WOW Lifegroup. The children joyfully received the Word of God and learned valuable lessons from the Bible. At the same time, the WOW group facilitated a soap-making activity as a creative way of evangelism, reaching out especially to the mothers in Sitio Yayabu.

Although it was a tiring day, our hearts were filled with joy and gratitude. We experienced the faithfulness of the Lord in every moment, and we give Him all the glory for the lives touched that day.🙌😇
