1 October 2022, coveting your prayers as we continue to encourage our seven new faith communities in Barangay Bagong Silangan, Quezon City to rebuild their homes and continue growth in their faith. Trusting the Lord in these times of crisis, some 200 families will be receiving relief food packages today. Thank You Lord and the people whom You have touched to give out of their need. (Luke 21:1-3)

NEWFLASH!!! THE CHURCH NEVER HAD WALLS!

“Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.” (Ephesians 2:20-22)

This pandemic has forced all ministries to go online. The buildings where the faithful congregation, called churches, is suddenly empty. The Lord is teaching us what the “ekklesia” really is. Christians are now realizing the truth that has been blurred for a long time, the church has no walls and it is not a building. It is the assembly, congregation and fellowship of believers that gathers in response to God’s call and purpose. (Romans 8:28)

Schools, in like manner, are not the buildings where students go to learn. A school, is a group of fish that swim together. What about malls? Before COVID 19, malls are where people go to eat and shop among other things. What about after COVID 19? The malls are deserted. So the malls are no longer what they are for there are no people who eat and shop among other things.

Matthew 16:18 is where the word church is first mentioned in the bible. THINK.

Life is like a v***r compared to all eternity. It is a whiff of mist, one moment is there and the next, it is gone forever! The greatest thing we can accomplish is nothing compared to what God has prepared for each of us who trusts His Son Yeshua. So the purpose of life is not to accumulate and accomplish but rather it is to intimately know God through His Son Jesus and do everything He left for us to finish.

There shall be no physical gathering of our members, workers, school staff, faculty and volunteers while we are still under QUARANTINE whether Extreme Enhanced Community Quarantine (EECQ), Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ), General Community Quarantine (GCQ), and Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ). The problem of viral infection and transmission is still present. In fact, the risk of contamination is higher today than before as more people are testing positive for COVID 19 (SARS COV2).

The government is forced to ease the restrictions so that the local economies will start to run again giving the people much needed income and for companies not to close which will put our country in greater peril. Everyone is enjoined and encouraged to observe the quarantine protocols such as frequent hand washing preferable with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before rinsing, wearing of face masks properly with nose and mouth covered, wearing of face shields when entering closed or crowded places if it cannot be avoided, and maintain physical distancing of not less than 6 feet or 1.8 meters.

Let us all pray to God to grant wisdom to our national and local government to manage this public health crisis well. Let us pray for our country that at this time, we will all call upon the Name of Jesus Christ (Yahawashi), repent of our sins and be baptized in His Holy Spirit.

ADVISORY (1 June 2020) to the members of THE MINISTRIES OF THE LIVING BODY OF CHRIST INTERNATIONAL and all those who consider the mLBCii as their family and home:

For now, there will still be NO FACE TO FACE meeting until further notice. There will be no physical gatherings.

We need to prayerfully seek the Lord for His direction. Further, our venue provider has informed us that they are still not allowed to operate as we write this advisory.

With the easing of the quarantine restrictions, we anticipate a “spike” in the number of new COVID-19 (SARS-COV2) cases of transmission and contamination. We need to also pray for the senior citizens and the children who are not allowed to go out as they have been identified as HIGH RISK to contract the virus.

Let us exercise prudence and restraint. Let us continually ask our Lord Jesus for instructions and wisdom in these changing times we refer to as the NEW NORMAL.

The quarantine restrictions have been lifted partially or incrementally depending where you are to reopen to get our economy moving and not because the virus is gone. Observe physical distancing, washing of hands as often as you can, wear masks or respirators when going outside, wear gloves and other personal protective equipment (PPE) as deemed necessary. We are living in the NEW NORMAL now.
