Today, we at 𝗦𝘁. 𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗲’𝘀 𝗘𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗹 proudly stood in solidarity with the entire Episcopal Church in the Philippines as we wore white in our worship services—our shared symbol of saying no to corruption and yes to truth, justice, and accountability. 🤍

As a Christian community, we showed that we refuse to stay silent. We choose to expose the darkness, stand for what is right, and embody the values our faith calls us to live out.

Thank you, 𝗦𝗞𝗘𝗣-𝗦𝗟𝗘𝗖 and 𝗦𝗟𝗘𝗖 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, for showing up, speaking up, and standing firm.

What a blessed and joyous fiesta celebration at St. Luke's Episcopal Cathedral. Guided by our theme, "𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀" (𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟱:𝟭𝟲), we truly brought the light by coming our community came together in fun fellowship and faithful worship. It was a beautiful sight to see our shared light manifest not only in our praise but also in the rich diversity of our heritage, as we celebrated by wearing attire representing our indigenous roots.

A very much thank you to our clergies and every parishioner who shared their unique light to make this event a success. May God be glorified by our good works, our shared joy, and the beautiful cultures He has woven together in our community!

Bible Reading: John 12: Verse 1-8.

This passage encourages us to reflect on our own priorities and how we demonstrate our love and devotion for Jesus, urging us to consider the value of our actions and the importance of loving and serving others, even in generous ways. 💖

Today, giving your all to Jesus may very well mean giving it to the poor. But when Jesus was physically present in front of Mary, giving her all directly to Jesus was her best way of expressing love for him.

UPDATE: The recently concluded Parish Assembly at St. Luke's Episcopal Cathedral was a powerful demonstration of our community's shared commitment to faith and service. SKEP SLEC was delighted to participate, presenting our annual report that highlighted our collaborative efforts with the parish throughout the year. We shared stories of success, showcasing how our joint initiatives have strengthened our community and furthered the Cathedral's mission. From completing the Alpha Course series to finishing the guitar lesson program for music ministry, our partnership has been instrumental in achieving remarkable results.

Our presentation also looked to the future, outlining ambitious plans for 2025 and beyond. These plans emphasize continued collaboration with the parish, focusing on expanding community outreach programs; developing new initiatives to strengthen outstation relationships; enhancing the ministry training. We believe that by working together, we can create an even more vibrant and impactful community of faith. We extend our sincere gratitude to the entire St. Luke's community for their unwavering support and partnership. Together, we can make a real difference!
