May our worship be centered not on ourselves, but on the glory of God and the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Q. What is the work of creation?
A. The work of creation is, God’s making all things of nothing, by the word of His power, in the space of six days, and all very good.

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” — Genesis 1:1

God created all things out of nothing by His powerful Word. Everything He made was good and reflects His wisdom, power, and glory.

Q. How doth God execute His decrees?
A. God executeth His decrees in the works of creation and providence.

"The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all." — Psalm 103:19

God carries out His eternal plan through creation and His continual care over all things. Nothing happens outside His sovereign rule, and He faithfully governs His world according to His wisdom and purpose.

RISE UP: STRENGTHENED BY THE POWER OF CHRIST
Ephesians 6:10–20
“Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.” — Ephesians 6:10

As believers, we are called to rise up and stand firm—not in our own strength, but in the strength of Christ. The Christian life is a spiritual battle, but we do not fight for victory; we fight from the victory Christ has already won.

1. Depend on Christ’s Strength
Our strength is received, not self-generated. True power comes from our union with Christ.

2. Recognize the Real Enemy
Our battle is not against people, but against spiritual forces. Satan is real, but he is limited—and Christ is victorious.

3. Put on the Whole Armor of God

👣 Gospel Peace
🔰 Faith
⛑️ Salvation
⚔️ God’s Word

4. Rise Up Through Prayer
Prayer is the atmosphere of spiritual battle. Pray continually, pray for one another, and depend on God’s grace.

Christ disarmed the powers at the cross, defeated death in His resurrection, and reigns as King.
Therefore, we can rise above fear, discouragement, sin, division, and complacency.

Rise up—not in our own strength, but strengthened by the power of Christ!

Q. What are the decrees of God?
A. The decrees of God are, His eternal purpose, according to the counsel of His will, whereby, for His own glory, He hath foreordained whatsoever comes to pass.

"Who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will." — Ephesians 1:11

God is not surprised by anything that happens. Before the foundation of the world, He wisely and sovereignly ordained all things for His glory and the good of His people.

From Seeing to Sending
Isaiah 6:1–8

God first reveals Himself, then renews His people by grace, and finally sends them for His mission.

I. When We See the Real King, We Will Always Remember His Covenant
God alone reigns forever.
Remember His covenant faithfulness.
Worship with reverence and confidence.

II. When We Receive His Divine Grace, We Will Always Renew Our Commitment
God's holiness reveals our sin.
His grace alone restores and renews.
Live in grateful obedience.

III. When We Hear His Divine Call, We Will Always Obey His Call
God calls those He has transformed.
Serve Him with willing hearts.
Proclaim Christ wherever He sends you.

When we see the King, we remember His covenant.
When we receive His grace, we renew our commitment.
When we hear His call, we joyfully obey.

"Here am I! Send me." — Isaiah 6:8

The Lord's Day is a reminder of God's faithfulness and His redeeming grace in Christ. May this be a day to set aside the distractions of life and delight in the worship of our covenant-keeping God.

Join us this Sunday as we gather to hear God's Word faithfully proclaimed, offer our prayers, sing His praises, and encourage one another as members of Christ's body.

Westminster Shorter Catechism #6

Q. How many persons are there in the Godhead?
A. There are three persons in the Godhead: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one God, the same in substance, equal in power and glory.

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." — Matthew 28:19

Our God is one in essence and three in persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, sharing the same divine nature, power, and glory.
