HAPPENING NOW 📸: EAPI welcomes its new cohort of Sabbatical Renewal Experience (SRE) and Pastoral Renewal for Discipleship (PRD) participants for August-December 2026! 🍃☘️

We are excited to have our participants go through our weekly sessions, team building activities, and retreat sessions among many others, aiming to cultivate renewed perspectives as they pursue God's mission in their lives 🙏

This new cohort of participants will also be celebrating EAPI's 60th homecoming and anniversary event with us! A lot is in store for our participants, and we look forward to embarking this four-month journey with them! 🥳

These white walls are ready to cradle its new group of participants as well as the alumni members who are treading their way back to EAPI for its 60th anniversary and homecoming celebration! EAPI is happy to share the Pastoral Leadership and Management for Mission (PLMM) Newsletter for January to June, 2026!

Centered on the theme “Formed to Serve in the Footsteps of Christ the Leader,” the PLMM Newsletter is a culmination of the six-month journey shared by 36 participants, EAPI administrators, facilitators, and support staff, highlighting personal experiences shaped by academic modules, practical activities, spiritual exercises, and the wider community life of the institute.

Congratulations to our 35 Pastoral Leadership & Management for Mission (PLMM) graduates for completing our six-month residential program! 🥳 Over the past few months, our participants immersed themselves with leadership and management theories and practices that aim to refresh their perspectives about the mission, strengthen their relationship with the Good Shepherd, and respond to the specific demands of their cultural contexts.

In the process of learning and renewing, we also witnessed friendships forged and immense care shared with one another. EAPI is glad to be their humble place of worship and fellowship. We are blessed to be their home away from home 🏡 🍀

As our beloved participants come back to their respective communities, let us continue to pray for God's grace and guidance, sustaining them in every step of the way. May God bless you all, our dearest friends! Therefore go and make disciples of all nations! 🫡

As our Pastoral for Leadership and Management for Mission (PLMM) participants prepare to go forth to their respective missions and callings, they gathered together at Holy Land Subic for a day of reflection and fellowship. Such was a cherished moment to celebrate the memories and friendships formed and strengthened throughout their five months of stay together at EAPI.

Though their paths may soon lead to different places, our participants will carry with them the bonds, lessons, and simple moments of grace and joy they shared together as a community.

As our Pastoral Leadership and Management for Mission (PLMM) participants reach the tail end of their semestral program, Ms Eva Galvey, co-founder of the Emmaus Center for Psycho-Spiritual Formation, guided our participants in exploring the art of attentive listening, discernment, and compassion. May this final module of our participants guide them as they continue to build a nourishing ministry of spiritual accompaniment that cultivates the true essence of a synodal Church in their respective contexts.

We thank Ms Eva for the insightful sessions she shared with our dearest participants!

Last June 5, our Pastoral Leadership and Management for Mission (PLMM) participants celebrated their faith woven together with the rich cultures of Southeast Asia 🌏 The cultural mass honored the region's rich traditions, languages, and spiritual expressions, showing that our faith is a gift that can be expressed in diverse forms and shared across borders.

Calling all key pastoral leaders, clergy, religious, and laypeople ⛪🔔
We are inviting everyone to join our upcoming workshop entitled “Leadership Formation for a Synodal Church” to be held from September 21 to 26, 2026 at Seven Fountains Jesuit Spirituality Centre, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

This workshop is part of the Discerning Leadership Program which was launched in Rome in 2019 and has trained over 900 church leaders from around the world. The workshop will be led by faculty members from both Rome and Asia Pacific in the Discerning Leadership Program. Additionally, Cardinal Filipe Neri Ferrão, President of the Federation of Asian Bishops' Conferences will give a Keynote Address.
