𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮𝟭 𝗢𝗙 𝟱𝟬 | 𝒀𝑶𝑼𝑵𝑮 𝑯𝑬𝑨𝑹𝑻𝑺 𝑭𝑶𝑹 𝑴𝑰𝑺𝑺𝑰𝑶𝑵

By 1987, the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish Youth Council (PYC), led by Coordinator Pinky Volante, had begun actively participating in the programs of the Archdiocesan Youth Council (AYC). Through district meetings and youth gatherings, the parish strengthened its ties with the wider Church, with Pinky serving as AYC Secretary. Programs such as the Sons & Daughters Encounter, Youth Encounter, and youth assemblies nurtured the faith and leadership of many young parishioners.

Under the guidance of Fr. Anton Pascual and later Fr. Ben Arceno, the Parish Youth Ministry became more than a venue for spiritual formation. It fostered personal growth, leadership, and a spirit of service through youth forums, leadership seminars, sportsfests, team-building activities, and various parish initiatives. The youth also learned responsibility and self-reliance by organizing fundraisers that supported many of their own programs, forming a generation of young leaders committed to the life and mission of the Church.

Our hearts are filled with gratitude for everyone who made our August BINHI Gathering a meaningful and grace-filled afternoon.

A very special thank you to Bro. JM Alcaraz for your inspiring and practical talk, "Befriending Stress: Harnessing Life Stressors for the Youth." Thank you for reminding our young people that stress is not something to fear, but something that can be faced with courage, wisdom, and faith in God. Your message encouraged our youth to embrace life's challenges with hope.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Tita Deng Carillo, Stewardship Ministry Coordinator with the Stewardship Ministry for the enriching talk on Stewardship. Thank you for inspiring us to recognize that everything we have is a gift from God and that we are all called to be faithful stewards of His blessings.

To everyone who availed themselves of the one-on-one counseling, thank you for your openness and trust. We also express our gratitude to our counselors, Bro. JM Alcaraz and Sis. Anne for generously sharing their time, compassion, and listening hearts.

Finally, thank you to all our BINHI participants, volunteers, youth leaders, and everyone who helped make this gathering possible. Your presence, service, and enthusiasm continue to make BINHI a place where young people can encounter Christ, grow in faith, and journey together as one family.

May God bless all of you abundantly, and may the seeds planted today continue to bear fruit in your lives.
