“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.”

GOD's WORD Concerning Married Life * Concerning Change of Status * Concerning the Unmarried

*****

Concerning Married Life
….
(v10) To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. (v11) But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.

(v12) To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. (v13) And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. (v14) For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.

(v15) But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. (v16) How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?

Concerning Change of Status

(v17) Nevertheless, each person should live as a believer in whatever situation the Lord has assigned to them, just as God has called them. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches.
*
(v23) You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of human beings. (v24) Brothers and sisters, each person, as responsible to God, should remain in the situation they were in when God called them.

Concerning the Unmarried

(v26) Because of the present crisis, I think that it is good for a man to remain as he is. (v27) Are you pledged to a woman? Do not seek to be released. Are you free from such a commitment? Do not look for a wife.
*
(v32) I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord’s affairs—how he can please the Lord.
*
(v40) In my judgment, she is happier if she stays as she is—and I think that I too have the Spirit of God.

(1 Corinthians 7:10-17; 23-24; 26-27; 32; 40 * NIV)

(Note: For the complete message, please read the whole chapter about this Bible passage 1 Corinthians 7:1-40.)

(v4) Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. (v5) It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. (v6) Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. (v7) It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Be Holy

(v13) Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming. (v14) As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. (v15) But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; (v16) for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

(1 Peter 1:13-16 * NIV)

***

(v13) Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

(v14) As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

(v15) But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

(v16) Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

.. Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought … let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord..
***

(v3) [Humble Service in the Body of Christ] For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.

(Romans 12:3 * NIV)

*****

(v23) This is what the Lord says:

“Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, (v24) but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,” declares the Lord.

(v6) “Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?

(v7) Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter-when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?

(v8) Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.

(v9) Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.

“If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, (v10) and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.

(v11) The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

(v12) Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.

(v13) “If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord’s holy day honorable, and if you honor it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words, (v14) then you will find your joy in the Lord, and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob.”

For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

…Sinful Humanity… Repent and live!

I read the Bible message about “God’s Wrath Against Sinful Humanity” and decided to post and share it for the awareness of all. With awareness, we can prevent and rebuke sins and evil forces to come our way. “JESUS” name is powerful and we must declare it with faith that greater is JESUS that is in us than in the world.

Please read all and let the whole world know that we (all) need to repent to live eternally in the Kingdom of our loving God the Father and Lord Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit.
Please do not ignore…Please read all and share:
**********
God’s Wrath Against Sinful Humanity

(v18) The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, (v19) since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. (v20) For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

(v21) For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. (v22) Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools (v23) and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.

(v24) Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. (v25) They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

(v26) Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. (v27) In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

(v28) Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. (v29) They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, (v30) slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; (v31) they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. (v32) Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

(Romans 1:18-32)

**********
(v14) “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. (v15) Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

(Revelation 22:14-15)

**********
The Ten Commandments

(v1) And God spoke all these words:

(v2) “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

(v3) “You shall have no other gods before me.

(v4) “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. (v5) You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, (v6) but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

(v7) “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

(v8) “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. (v9) Six days you shall labor and do all your work, (v10) but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. (v11) For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

(v12) “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

(v13) “You shall not murder.

(v14) “You shall not commit adultery.

(v15) “You shall not steal.

(v16) “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

(v17) “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”
*
(v20) Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.”

(Exodus 20: 1-17; 20)

(v1) Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ

Jesus, (v2) because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives

life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

*

(v5) Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what

the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have

their minds set on what the Spirit desires. (v6) The mind governed by the

flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.

(v7) The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit

to God’s law, nor can it do so. (v8) Those who are in the realm of the

flesh cannot please God.

(v9) You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm

of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone

does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. (v10)

But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death

because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. (v11) And

if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he

who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies

because of his Spirit who lives in you.

*

(v14) For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

(v15) The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live

in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your

adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” (v16) The Spirit

himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

*

(v26) In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not

know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us

through wordless groans. (v27) And he who searches our hearts knows the

mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in

accordance with the will of God.

(Romans 8:1-2; 5-11; 14-16; 26-27 * NIV)

**********

(v4) All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in

other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

*

(v11) (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them

declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” (v12) Amazed and

perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”

*

(v38) Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the

name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will

receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

(Acts 2:4; 11-12; 38 * NIV)

**********

(v7) Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the

common good. (v8) To one there is given through the Spirit a message of

wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit,

(v9) to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by

that one Spirit, (v10) to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy,

to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in

different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of

tongues. (v11) All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he

distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

*

(1 Corinthians 12:7-11 * NIV)

**********

(v2) For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to

God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.

*

(v13) For this reason the one who speaks in a tongue should pray that

they may interpret what they say. (v14) For if I pray in a tongue, my

spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful. (v15) So what shall I do? I will

pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my understanding; I will

sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my understanding.

*

(v22) Tongues, then, are a sign, not for believers but for unbelievers;

prophecy, however, is not for unbelievers but for believers. (v23) So if

the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and

inquirers or unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of

your mind? (v24) But if an unbeliever or an inquirer comes in while

everyone is prophesying, they are convicted of sin and are brought under

judgment by all, (v25) as the secrets of their hearts are laid bare. So

they will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, “God is really among

you!”
