Faith Evangelical Church of the Philippines, Inc. - FECPI

Faith Evangelical Church of the Philippines, Inc. - FECPI 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡: To bring Christ to all people and build communities of faith for God's glory.
𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡: Strong, multiplying churches that impact the nations. (FECPI).

OMS International, Inc. is the founding organization behind the Faith Evangelical Church of the Philippines, Inc. OMS is a non-denominational missionary organization with its international headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana, U.S.A. OMS began in 1901 in Japan and now has ministries in Asia, Europe, South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Its four-fold emphasis is evangelism, church planting, trai

ning and partnership. OMS’s objective is for FECPI to develop into a strong indigenous denomination that will plant churches across the Philippines. In September of 1982, the first OMS missionaries, Wes and Margaret Wildermuth, arrived in the Philippines and began the task of registering and building the OMS ministry. In January 1983, they were joined by Bill and Joyce Oden, whose assignment was to establish the first church. The Odens soon began conducting bible studies; after several months, they brought their groups together for the first worship service. Services in Faith Fellowship, located in the V.V. Soliven Building on EDSA, began in March 1984. Bill Oden was appointed the first pastor; he was assisted by Wes Wildermuth and Jim Murray. The first years were spent developing Faith Fellowship into a strong self-supporting congregation. Realizing the time for church planting had come, plans were made to begin daughter churches. The name Faith Evangelical Church of the Philippines (FECP) was chosen for the new denomination. Incorporation was finalized on May 4, 1990. A second church was started in Las Piñas in November 1990, and a third one (located on Marcos Highway near Marikina) was birthed in January 1991. From that time on, church planting has been one of the church’s major emphases. As church planting increased, the need for a dedicated training center grew. After much discussion and prayer, FECP (in partnership with OMS) founded Faith Bible College (FBC) in July 1989 to train pastors and Christian workers for full-time ministry. Twelve students enrolled the first year. It has since graduated over 90 students, many of whom are now pastoring denomination churches. FBC was incorporated as an independent entity in August, 2005, when its name was officially changed to Faith Bible College (FBC), Inc. After more than a decade of growth, it was deemed necessary to amend FECP’s by-laws. This was accomplished in April, 2005; at that time, its name was changed to Faith Evangelical Churches of the Philippines, Inc. Then, the name was back to FAITH EVANGELICAL CHURCH OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC. (FECPI) IN 2009.

Today, let us pray for FRANCE.

Background:
France stands at a political and economic crossroads. The economy needs radical reforms to prosper in the globalized world. The large immigrant community continues to grow and challenges the traditional understanding of French identity. The majority feel content as individuals, but they do not have much confidence in the future of the Republic, with so many points of tension in their society. Young people especially feel the crisis, and often long for meaning and purpose. These factors, especially the economic frustrations of the working and middle classes, brought about the rise of the Yellow Vest movement and the rise of far right political movements. Pray for both economic justice in France and for Christians to be able to offer French people a hope beyond mere economic respite.

The accelerating decline of religious faith since the 18th Century has seen France’s Catholic and mainline Protestant legacies plummet in recent years, even as atheism has grown. Hostility toward organized religion as well as the privatization of spirituality mean that regular attendance in any church is below 8%. Some surveys show that over 30% of French people are non-religious. Most French have a profound ignorance of, or indifference to, the gospel, many having never meaningfully encountered it. Yet, the relativism of postmodernity has generated acute emptiness and existential angst; as many have noted, this in turn has created a spiritual hunger that has grown rapidly in recent years. Pray that such hunger might overcome the suspicion toward religion. Pray that Christians would be prepared to patiently and relationally share Jesus with those who seek.

[2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 NIV: May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by His grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.]

Today, we join the global community in observing the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development (WDCDDD)—a reminder of the beauty of human cultures and the importance of meaningful dialogue in building peace and sustainable development.

In a world where a significant majority of conflicts arise in places with limited intercultural understanding, the call to strengthen dialogue becomes even more urgent. Peace is not sustained by silence or separation, but by understanding, humility, and grace-filled engagement with one another.

At the heart of our faith is this hope:
Christ Himself is our peace. Through His sacrifice, He has broken down every wall that divides humanity and has made one new humanity through the Cross (Ephesians 2:14–16). What once separated us has been overcome in Him—hostility is not the final word; reconciliation is.

As followers of Christ, we are invited to live out this reconciling love. In our daily encounters, we reflect Him when we choose understanding over assumption, humility over pride, and compassion over indifference. Every conversation becomes an opportunity to honor the image of God in others, to listen with patience, and to pursue peace where division once stood.

May our lives bear witness that the Cross not only restores our relationship with God, but also calls us into unity with one another.

Let us respond in prayer:

Our Heavenly Father,

We come before You with grateful hearts, acknowledging You as the Creator of all peoples and nations. Thank You for the richness of cultures, languages, and traditions that reflect Your wisdom and creativity.

Forgive us, Lord, for the times we have allowed differences to become barriers instead of bridges. Heal what has been wounded by misunderstanding, prejudice, and division. Teach us to see others through the eyes of Christ, who is our peace.

Lord Jesus, You have broken down the dividing wall of hostility through the Cross. Help us to live in the reality of that victory. Shape our hearts to walk in humility and love, building relationships marked by grace and truth.

Guide our words to be seasoned with kindness and wisdom, bringing encouragement and understanding in every space we enter. May our churches and communities become reflections of Your reconciling Presence—places where unity is practiced and love is visible.

Empower us to be peacemakers in a divided world. Give us courage to build bridges, wisdom to listen well, and compassion to respond with gentleness and respect.

We also lift up the spread of Your Word across all nations. May every people hear the Gospel in their own language and encounter the transforming love of Christ.

In all things, make us instruments of Your peace, for Your glory alone. In Jesus Christ's Name, we pray. Amen.

Today, let us pray for the persecuted church in NIGERIA.

What does persecution look like in Nigeria?
In Nigeria, Christians suffer significant and severe persecution – to such a degree that Nigeria has been the most violent place in the world for followers of Jesus for several years. In northern Nigeria, 12 states have implemented Islamic law, creating a system where Christians live as second-class citizens, and conversion from Islam can be severely punished.

Violent Islamic militant groups also operate across northern Nigeria and into the country’s central region. Some of these groups – including Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), an offshoot of Islamic State – target followers of Jesus and any properties owned by Christians. Other Christians, particularly farmers in Nigeria’s Middle Belt, are confronted by Islamic militants among the Fulani people, who disproportionately attack Christian communities with horrific violence.

In recent years, violence has increased and spilled into southern states. Much of it is perpetrated by Fulani militants hiding in the forests. Another contributor to insecurity for Christians in the south east is Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a separatist group trying to carve out its own nation. IPOB has also oppressed and persecuted Christians, particularly Christian leaders who do not conform to their ideological requirements.

What has changed this year?
Violence continued unabated in Nigeria, which is why it continues to be ranked in the top ten of the World Watch List. In multiple instances, hundreds of Christians were killed or displaced because of attacks from Islamic militants. Most of these attacks were carried out by militant Fulani herdsmen, who continue to target Christian communities, leading to the displacement of millions of Christians. Attacks are also carried out by Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province, along with new extremist groups that are emerging.

How can you pray for Nigeria?
* It seems the violence in northern Nigeria is never-ending. Ask God to bring peace to this country.
* Just this year, tens of thousands of Nigerian Christians were displaced. Pray that God would give them hope and stability.
* Pray that the government of Nigeria would do everything possible to protect people from violence. Ask God to work on the hearts of both officials and those who would inflict violence on His people.

Challenges & Opportunities
• The former province of Maguindanao was divided in 2022 into Maguindanao del Norte and Maguindanao del Sur through a plebiscite aimed at improving governance and service delivery. Both provinces, however, continue to navigate transition challenges, especially in reaching remote and underserved barangays.
• Strategically located at the heart of Mindanao’s growth corridors and home to the BARMM Regional Industrial Center, these provinces play a vital role in the island’s economic growth. Yet, many communities remain underserved—not only in basic services but also in access to the Gospel.
• The region faces high vulnerability to natural hazards, including flooding, landslides, and typhoons. Flooding continues to worsen in many areas—especially along the Rio Grande de Mindanao—due to erosion, siltation, water hyacinth buildup, rising temperatures, and increasing rainfall.
• Cycles of armed conflict and displacement remain a pressing concern. In October and November 2024 alone, a series of clashes displaced more than 10,000 people across several municipalities. These conflicts—often rooted in land disputes, political rivalries, and clan feuds—are further compounded by military operations, flooding, and recurring weather disturbances, making displacement complex and often prolonged.
• Maguindanao is home to diverse ethnic groups, including Maguindanao, Iranun, Teduray, Bisaya, Ilocano, Tagalog, Maranao, and Tausug. Among them, several groups—particularly the Maguindanao, Iranun, Maranao, and Tausug—remain frontier peoples with little to no known movements to Christ and a continued need for pioneer cross-cultural workers.
• Its population is predominantly Muslim (83.5%), shaping its cultural and spiritual landscape. While some Christians are present in Maguindanao, there are still no reported established churches among many of these communities—highlighting both the challenge and the opportunity for faithful, Christ-centered witness.

Let the words of Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV) guide your prayers for Maguindanao:
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we lift before You the unreached barangays across Maguindanao del Norte and Maguindanao del Sur. Even as these provinces are positioned for growth and development, many people in them remain unreached by the Gospel. We ask that as systems are strengthened and communities are built up, the knowledge of Christ would also take root and flourish in every barangay. Let no place remain untouched by Your love.

LORD, send laborers into its 469 unreached barangays. Open doors where none seem possible. Prepare hearts even now, and establish communities of faith where none yet exist. Let Your love move throughout Maguindanao—healing what is broken, restoring what has been lost, and drawing many to Yourself. May every barangay one day become a place where Your name is known, honored, and worshiped.

In the midst of flooding, environmental challenges, and uncertainty—especially in areas surrounding the Rio Grande de Mindanao—be the Refuge and Sustainer of the people. Provide for families, protect homes, and bring resilience to communities facing recurring hardship.

Father, we remember those affected by cycles of conflict and displacement. For the thousands who have been uprooted by violence, fear, and loss, be their peace and restoration. Heal divisions caused by land disputes, political rivalries, and clan conflicts. Let reconciliation take place where there has been long-standing tension, and establish a peace that goes beyond human agreements.

We lift up the many ethnic groups across Maguindanao—the Maguindanao, Iranun, Teduray, Maranao, Tausug, and others. You created each people group with purpose and beauty. We ask that You reveal Yourself to them in ways they can understand, and raise up faithful, humble workers who will serve with love, wisdom, and deep respect.

Lord, for the few believers scattered across these provinces, strengthen them according to Your Word in Hebrews 10:24–25. May they not grow weary or isolated, but continue to gather—whether in small numbers or quiet ways—and encourage one another daily. Stir in them a deep love that overflows into good deeds, becoming a living testimony of Your love to those around them. Grant them courage to remain steadfast, discernment in every situation, and favor within their communities. Protect them as they quietly and faithfully witness for Christ. Let their lives reflect Your grace so clearly that hearts will be drawn to You.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Today, let us pray for ESTONIA.

Background:
Despite a Protestant heritage, genuine faith in Estonia is rare. Many have limited Christian belief, but very few follow Jesus in any meaningful way. Most of the population need to be re-evangelized. Young people have little to equip them against the predations of post-Christian values, since the traditional Christian confessions are weak and in decline. Pray for a new vision for evangelism and revival to reawaken the nominal majority.

Estonia found political and economic success after the time of Soviet domination (1940-1988). Poverty remains a problem, and greed for material possessions grows as the economy grows. Estonia faces a crisis of values as the people become more and more secular in their attitudes. Pray for a wise and upright government to model righteousness and biblical values.

Religious freedom is an open door to Christian ministry but also to theological error. Many marginal Christian sects are increasing in number and influence - Mormons have more missionaries in Estonia than any Christian agency has there. While actual practitioners are few, a recent poll showed 11% of Estonians expressed warmest feelings toward pre-Christian pagan religions. Pray for the truth and light of Christ to be established in this new marketplace of religious options.

Unity in the Church is a potentially powerful witness to a cynical population. The Estonian Evangelical Alliance seeks to foster unity in diversity among many denominations through fellowship and prayer events. Pray that all of Christ's faithful would demonstrate Christ's love for one another.

Ministry to minorities. Specific outreach is needed for the large Russian population, with whom reconciliation is still a point for prayer. Pray also for the gospel to be shared with the Tatar Muslims, the Jews and the growing minority groups in Estonia.

[1 Peter 5:1-3 AMP: Therefore, I strongly urge the elders among you [pastors, spiritual leaders of the church], as a fellow elder and as an eyewitness [called to testify] of the sufferings of Christ, as well as one who shares in the glory that is to be revealed: shepherd and guide and protect the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not [motivated] for shameful gain, but with wholehearted enthusiasm; not lording it over those assigned to your care [do not be arrogant or overbearing], but be examples [of Christian living] to the flock [set a pattern of integrity for your congregation].]

• na tutuparin nila nang buong husay at katapatan, sa abot ng kanilang kakayahan, ang mga tungkulin ng kanilang kasalukuyang posisyon bilang Senador ng Republika ng Pilipinas, at ng iba pang mga tungkuling gaganapin nila sa ilalim ng Republika ng Pilipinas;
• Na kanilang itataguyod at ipagtatanggol ang Konstitusyon ng Pilipinas;
• Na kanilang tatalimahin ang mga batas, mga legal na utos, at mga dekretong pinaiiral ng mga wastong kinatawan ng Pilipinas;

Amen.

Today, let us come before the Lord in prayer for Faith Fellowship-Dagupan, and their shepherd, Ptr. Jonathan "Nathan" Cariaso.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with grateful hearts, praising You for Your mercy, grace, and unfailing love. Thank You for the gift of life, for the truth that sets us free, and above all, for the salvation we have through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank You for the assurance in Your Word in Romans 8:28, that You cause all things to work together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Even in every challenge, labor, and season of waiting, we trust that Your hand is at work for Your glory and for the good of Your people.

Today, we lift up to You Faith Fellowship-Dagupan and their shepherd, Ptr. Jonathan “Nathan” Cariaso. Thank You, Lord, for Ptr. Nathan’s faithful service, dedication, and obedience to the calling You have placed upon him. Continue to strengthen him physically, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally as he leads Your people. Fill him with wisdom, humility, courage, and a deeper passion for Your Word and Your flock. May his life continue to be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. We pray for continuous good health and protection for him and his whole family.

Lord, we thank You for Your abundant provision for FF-Dagupan. Thank You for touching the hearts of people to support and help raise funds for their church lot — a place that will become a house of worship, prayer, discipleship, and fellowship where many lives will encounter Your presence. We pray for Your continuous provision for the preparation of the lot and the construction of the church building. We believe, Father, that this is part of Your greater purpose, and that You are making all things work together according to Your perfect plan for the ministry.

We also thank You for the success of the 3-day Vision Casting Training held last April 14–16 in Western Pangasinan. Thank You for planting a greater burden and vision in the hearts of Your people to reach those in the outskirts and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. May the seeds planted during the training continue to grow and bear much fruit. Empower every worker, leader, and volunteer with boldness, unity, compassion, and perseverance as they fulfill the Great Commission.

Father, we pray for the ongoing DVBS that started last Monday. May it be fruitful and impactful in the lives of the children. Bless every teacher, volunteer, and worker with joy, patience, creativity, and passion as they teach Your Word. May every child come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, grow in faith, and experience Your love at a young age. Let this ministry shape hearts and futures for Your glory.

We also lift up the volunteers from FF-Dagupan who continuously minister through visitations and outreach in the Pangasinan provincial and district jails. Grant them wisdom, guidance, protection, and spiritual strength as they share hope, love, and the Gospel to those who are incarcerated. May hearts be softened, lives transformed, and souls brought closer to You. Let Your light shine even in the darkest places, reminding every person that Your grace is able to redeem and restore.

Lord, continue to unite FF-Dagupan in love, faith, and purpose. Protect the church from discouragement, division, and weariness. May every ministry flourish according to Your will, and may every trial become a testimony of Your faithfulness. Teach them to trust that You are sovereign over every circumstance and that You are continually working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.

All these we ask and pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

12/05/2026

Today, let us pray for the unreached barangays of BOHOL. May the following information about Bohol help you pray for it, especially for its people.

Profile
· Region: Central Visayas Region (Region VII)
· Cities: 1 (Tagbilaran)
· Capital: Tagbilaran City
· Municipalities: 47
· Barangays (PSGC,2025): 1,109 (Rank: 7/82)
· Area (2013): 4,772.52 square kilometers (Rank: 25/81)
· Population (POPCEN,2024): 1,412,726 (Rank: 23/82)

Church Saturation Progress
• No. of Unreached Barangays (Phil.Church Update,2025): 517
• Total Number of churches (Phil.Church Update,2025): 1,483

Challenges & Opportunities
• Bohol’s economy continues to show strong recovery and growth, recording an 8.8% expansion in 2024, the fastest in Central Visayas. All major sectors grew, with agriculture rebounding most rapidly, yet the province remains service-driven and heavily anchored in tourism, making it both dynamic and vulnerable to external shocks.
• Economic opportunities are present but unevenly distributed. While tourism, small enterprises, and eco-tourism offer growth potential, many communities still rely on subsistence farming and fishing, with limited access to markets and resources. Youth migration due to limited local employment continues to affect family stability and community life.
• Environmental realities shape both risk and responsibility. While Bohol is somewhat shielded from severe typhoons, it remains vulnerable to climate change, resource depletion, and natural disasters, including earthquakes such as the 2013 magnitude 7.2 event. These conditions highlight the need for resilience and faithful stewardship of creation.
• Poverty has declined but remains a significant concern. Around 264,480 Boholanos live below the poverty line, including 86,730 who are food poor. Contributing factors include resource overuse, low agricultural productivity, population growth, and unequal access to opportunities, especially in rural and coastal areas.
• Bohol ranks 7th highest in the Philippines in terms of infant mortality, with a rate of 14.01 deaths per 1,000 live births.
• The population of Bohol is predominantly Boholano (1,267,043 or 91.1%), followed by Bisaya (3.0%), Cebuano (2.1%), Eskaya (0.5%), and Tagalog (0.4%).
• In terms of religious affiliation, the majority of Boholanos are Roman Catholic (90.3%), reflecting the province’s strong historical and cultural ties to the Catholic faith.

As you pray for BOHOL, may the words of Acts 2:44-47 (NLT) guide you:
"And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved."

Guide Prayer:
Father God, we come before You with gratitude and hope, lifting up the entire province of Bohol—its 47 municipalities and its more than 1.4 million people. You see every barangay, every home, every heart. You know the 517 places where there is still no established witness of the Gospel. Lord, let Your light shine in these communities.

We thank You for the believers You have already planted across Bohol. Strengthen them by Your Holy Spirit to live as one body—gathering faithfully, loving sincerely, and sharing generously, just as Your Word in Acts declares. May their lives reflect Christ so clearly that others are drawn not only to their kindness, but to the Savior they follow.

Lord, in a province experiencing economic growth yet marked by uneven opportunities, we pray for those who struggle—farmers, fishermen, and families facing poverty and food insecurity. Stir Your Church to respond with compassion and action. Raise up communities of faith that will share what they have, care for those in need, and become channels of Your provision and grace.

We lift up the youth of Bohol, especially those who feel the need to leave their homes in search of employment. Anchor them in You. Raise up local churches that will disciple, equip, and empower them to live with purpose—whether they stay or go.

In places vulnerable to environmental challenges and natural disasters, we ask for Your protection and resilience. Teach Your people to be faithful stewards of creation, and let Your Church be a source of hope and stability in times of uncertainty.

Father, we remember the children and families facing health challenges, including concerns in infant mortality. Extend Your healing hand. Strengthen healthcare workers, provide access where it is lacking, and surround every mother and child with Your care.

In a province deeply rooted in religious tradition, we pray for a deeper revelation of Jesus Christ—not only known in custom, but encountered in truth and relationship. Let hearts be awakened. Let faith become personal, alive, and transforming.

Lord, we ask that You raise up laborers for every unreached barangay in Bohol. Send men and women who will go with humility, love, and boldness. Open homes for fellowship. Establish Christ-centered communities where people worship together, share life together, and grow in Your Word.

May Bohol reflect the Church we see in Acts—united, joyful, generous, and full of Your presence. And day by day, Lord, add to their number those who are being saved.

All glory belongs to You, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
