Faith looks to see what God wants, and it works accordingly. That’s what faith does. It sees what God wants, and what God wants done, and faith operates through that.

There was a man by the name of Zacharias and his wife Elisabeth: righteous, holy people, keeping the commandments of God and walking in all the statutes and ordinances of God, blameless. That’s the kind of a home we need today. Don’t you believe it? In the stead of that in the church today, we have everything else but holiness and righteousness. But they were righteous people, godly people, walking in the commandments of the Lord, keeping all the ordinances, blameless. Zacharias was a priest at the temple. And his office was to burn incense while prayer was being made. And one day, while he was in the temple burning incense, Gabriel, an Angel from God, came down and stood by the altar of incense, and said, “Zacharias, fear not. Your prayers is heard.” Oh, I love that. They…His wife was barren. She hadn’t had any children. She was past the age of bearing. But he lived right before God and believed on God. 115 Oh, the—the fire only waters it. It only gives us new hope. It only—it only strengthens it; every trial, testing. Every time a wind hits a tree and shoves it back and forth, and back and forth, it only loosens the roots so it can grow deeper and get a better hold. Every time sickness strikes your home, every time trial strikes your home, every time the neighbors say something bad about you, it’s only shaking you, loosen you up, so you can get down and get a better hold on the Eternal Rock of God’s unmovable Word. That’s how God does it. He sends those trials to test you and to prove you, to shake you up and to give you a new hold.

Oh, my. I love Him with all my heart. And I want everybody to know that, that I love the Lord Jesus with all my soul, heart, and mind.

Someone said not long ago, give me a threat in a certain city, said, “If you don’t quit preaching Divine healing, we’ll throw a bomb on the platform.”

I said, “The smoke won’t dry till I’ll be in glory.” I said, “That’s all right.” Why do we fear? My, if God be for you, who can be against you? You know, it’s written in the Bible it’s better that a millstone was hanged at your neck and drowned in the depths of the sea, than to offend these that believe in Me? “These signs shall follow them that believe in Me. Touch not My anointed. Do My prophets no harm.”

If you fight, God can’t fight. Stand still; let God fight, He will bring it to pass. Amen. He will put every critic, everything to shame. Do you believe Him, brethren? Let’s settle down to faith.

It’s a Life, not an emotion; not some sort of a fleshly evidence. But It is a Person, Jesus Christ, the Word of God established in your heart, to quicken every Word of this age. Right.
