𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐋𝐄: 𝐊𝐅𝐂 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞!

As we look back on the whole RFWT, we remember all the moments that shaped us as Rock Ates and Kuyas. From the sessions and workshops to the worship and activities, each part of the weekend helped us grow in faith, build friendships, and understand our mission to serve the kids. These highlights remind us of the joy, learnings, and experiences we shared together.

More than just memories, this weekend marked the beginning of our journey as Rock Facilitators. As heroes called to serve, we move forward with grateful hearts, ready to lead the kids closer to God and live out what we have learned.

𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞: 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞

The weekend ended with Praisefest led by Kuya Rich, where Rock Ates and Kuyas came together in worship to celebrate all the learnings and experiences from the training. It was a moment to offer everything back to God, recognizing that despite the challenges and responsibilities ahead, we continue to rely on His love and guidance as we serve the kids.

Kuya Rich reminded everyone, “𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗺. 𝗪𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝗱.” This message encouraged everyone to move forward with hope and humility, trusting that despite our imperfections, God continues to call and use us as His heroes in leading kids closer to Him.

𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟑: 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬

In the final session, participants were reminded that serving as Rock Facilitators is not always easy, but with God’s grace, we can answer His call. Session 3 focused on serving with a heart like Jesus through humility, commitment, and kindness. As heroes called to lead the kids closer to Christ, we are encouraged to always go back to Jesus in prayer and allow His love to guide our service.

Kuya Rovic reminded everyone, “𝗞𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗹 𝗹𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝗮𝘆 𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘆𝗮.” This calls us to serve with humility and gratitude, recognizing that everything we have comes from God. As Rock Facilitators, we lead with love and reflect the heart of Jesus in everything we do.

𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝟓: 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞

The last workshop helps participants face real situations they may encounter while serving the kids. Through group discussions and role plays, they practice how to respond with love in different challenges. Like true heroes, ROCK Facilitators are called to act with patience, understanding, and care in every situation they face.

Ate Eloisa reminded everyone that “𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀.” This shows that a real KFC hero leads with love at all times. Even in difficult moments, facilitators are called to choose kindness and reflect the love of Jesus in the way they guide and serve the kids.

𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝟒: 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐉𝐨𝐲

Workshop 4 introduced the importance of Kids Praise and how to properly conduct it in KFC activities. Participants learned that Kids Praise is more than singing and dancing. It is a way to express prayers, build a deeper relationship with Christ, and share joy with the kids. As Rock Facilitators, we are called to lead with energy and enthusiasm so kids can experience God’s love through worship.

Kuya John Rey reminded everyone, “𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲, 𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗶, 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀.” Through our joy and smiles, we reflect Christ to the children and help them encounter Him in a fun and meaningful way. As heroes called to serve, we use our talents to bring praise, joy, and faith to every Kids Praise.

𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞: 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐬

Day 2 Morning Worship, led by Kuya Lester, brought everyone together as they prepared to continue the remaining workshops and sessions. It was a moment to lift everything to God and be reminded that we do not serve alone. Just like heroes preparing for the next mission, everyone was encouraged to place their trust in God and move forward with faith.

Kuya Lester shared, “𝗛𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗴-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘆, 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗛𝗲'𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘀; 𝗵𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶-𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗯𝘁 𝗶𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗶 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻. 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗱.” This reminded everyone to serve with confidence, knowing that God is always with us as we continue our mission to guide the kids closer to Him.

𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞: 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡

After a full day of sessions and learning, Day 1 ended with a closing prayer led by Tito Jude. It was a moment for Rock Ates and Kuyas to reflect, thank God for the day, and prepare their hearts before the e-night and rest. Like heroes after a long mission, everyone was reminded to entrust everything to God, recharge in His presence, and be ready to continue serving with faith the next day.

𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐: 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤

Session 2 reminded the participants that to effectively serve the kids, we must first build our foundation in Christ. Through the Egg Drop activity, they experienced the importance of teamwork, communication, and creativity. Just like building a strong structure to protect the egg, we are also called to build a strong foundation so we can share Christ’s joy and be good examples to the kids we serve.

Ate Arianne reminded everyone, ""𝗔𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗱."" Like Peter, we may have imperfections, but God still calls us to be His instruments. With Christ as our strong foundation, we answer the call to serve faithfully and lead the kids closer to Him.

𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝟑: 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧

Workshop 3 focused on equipping Rock Ates and Kuyas to conduct KFC Monthly Chapter Assemblies and School Based Club Meetings. Participants learned the importance of these gatherings as the kids’ spiritual nourishment and lifeline in the community. As Rock Facilitators, we are called to lead with zeal, passion, and the right attitude, creating a safe and joyful space where kids can grow in faith.

Kuya Pat reminded everyone, “𝗪𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗞𝗔 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿. 𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.” As heroes gathered for the mission, we are encouraged to serve with excellence and kindness, knowing that our attitude can inspire kids to grow and succeed in their journey with God.

𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝟐: 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧

Workshop 2 focused on helping Rock Ates and Kuyas understand how to conduct KFC Entry Camps. Participants learned the purpose of Senior Kids Camp and Junior Kids Day, who are involved, and the responsibilities of the service team. This workshop reminded everyone that Entry Camps are important moments where kids begin their journey in Kids For Christ, and Rock Facilitators play a key role in guiding them with excellence and care.

Kuya Janjan reminded everyone, “𝗛𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝗮 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻, 𝗸𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶, 𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝗿𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗮 𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮.
