The young people of Bethany Baptist Church Cubao, represented by BYBLOS and Youth Ablazed for Christ is going to hold its 1st YOUTH LIFE-PLANNING RETREAT 2011 on November 5 and 12, 2011 at the Sun Valley Estates in Antipolo City. This event will commence at 9:00 in the morning and will conclude at 6:00 in the evening on these two consecutive Saturdays. This life-planning retreat will encourage the
youth participants to pause and examine themselves in order to live a more fruitful, fulfilled, and God-focused life. THINK… DECIDE,” hopes to encourage our youth to put God, God’s Word, and God’s Work in the center of their lives. The topics to be discussed are: Life-Planning, Studies and Career, Relationships with Family and Friends, Love, Courtship, and Marriage, Financial Management, Ministry, Health and Vices, Leadership and Management of Self and Others, Decision-Making on Real-Life Dilemmas. There will be a sports fest during these two Saturdays right after the sessions. Joining this Life-Planning Retreat will enable the youth to widen their circle of Christian friends as they meet and interact with young people from other Baptist churches during this 2-day retreat. For the event’s debut, we are expecting 120 delegates from eight (8) different Baptist churches with an age group of 14 to 24 years old. These churches are: Bethany Baptist Church-Makati, Bethany Baptist Church-Pangarap, Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church-Tatalon, Baptist Bible Church-Sta. Mesa, Bethany Baptist Church-UP Diliman, Global City Bible Baptist Church, Bible Baptist Church of Pasay. There is a registration fee of P600 for the 2-day event which is inclusive of the rent for the venue, lunch and snacks, handouts, giveaways and certificates.
