๐—ช๐—›๐—˜๐—ก ๐—š๐—ฅ๐—”๐—ง๐—œ๐—ง๐—จ๐——๐—˜ ๐—™๐—˜๐—˜๐—Ÿ๐—ฆ ๐—›๐—”๐—ฅ๐——, ๐—Ÿ๐—ข๐—ข๐—ž ๐—•๐—”๐—–๐—ž ๐—”๐—ง ๐—š๐—ข๐——.

Sometimes, the hardest thing to say is โ€œ๐™๐™๐™–๐™ฃ๐™  ๐™”๐™ค๐™ช, ๐™‡๐™ค๐™ง๐™™.โ€
Especially when life doesnโ€™t look the way we hoped it would.

But last Sunday, we were reminded that thanksgiving isnโ€™t only about our circumstancesโ€”๐—ถ๐˜โ€™๐˜€ ๐—ฎ๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜ ๐˜„๐—ต๐—ผ ๐—š๐—ผ๐—ฑ ๐—ถ๐˜€.

๐—™๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—›๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—š๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ for He is good, even when life isnโ€™t.
๐—™๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—›๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—Ÿ๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ for He redeemed us, forgave us, and gave us eternal life.
๐—™๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—›๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—™๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต๐—ณ๐˜‚๐—น๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ for He keeps His promises and never abandons His children.

๐Ÿ“– โ€œMabuti ang Panginoon, pag-ibig niya'y walang hanggan, Siya'y Diyos na mabuti't laging tapat kailanman!โ€
โ€” Psalm 100:5

When your heart finds it hard to be thankful, ๐—น๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ธ ๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—š๐—ผ๐—ฑ ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป.
His goodness remains. His love remains. His faithfulness remains.

And maybe sometimes, gratitude begins not with โ€œLord, Iโ€™m thankful for what happened,โ€ but with:
โ€œLord, Iโ€™m thankful because You are still God.โ€

Traffic. Long lines. Delayed plans. We all know how frustrating waiting can be. But what if, with God, waiting isnโ€™t wasted timeโ€”๐™ž๐™ฉโ€™๐™จ ๐™ฌ๐™ค๐™ง๐™ ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ข๐™š? ๐Ÿ™

Last Sunday, we were reminded that waiting on the Lord means ๐™–๐™˜๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ซ๐™š๐™ก๐™ฎ ๐™™๐™š๐™ฅ๐™š๐™ฃ๐™™๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™ค๐™ฃ ๐™ƒ๐™ž๐™ข, not simply doing nothing.
