Claretian Missionary Sisters-Philippines

Claretian Missionary Sisters-Philippines We are called to proclaim the Gospel to all creatures in imitation of the holy apostles, so that God may be known, loved, served, and praised by all people.

We were born in the Church in the year 1855, in Cuba. Our founders are Saint Anthony Mary Claret and the Venerable María Antonia París. Our spirituality can best be understood by taking at brief look at the lives of our founders and how they responded to the challenges of their times. Moved by the Spirit, and following in the footsteps of Claret and Antonia Paris, the Claretian Missionary Sisters

are dedicated to the evangelization of all peoples, as Claret would say, seeking to respond "to the most urgent needs in the most efficient ways."

Come, discover a life of LOVE, COMMUNION, and MISSION!

If you were born in Europe would you like to relocate and live in Nigeria? ;)

Sr Anna has been here for many years. She sees Nigeria as her own country now and that's how the words of our Founders Maria Antonia Paris "the whole word is a homeland of a missionary of Christ " materialize.

Once when she travelled by public transport (as she usually does) a passanger was very happy and said "Sister, you give us hope. If you can live here, Nigeria is not so bad" :)

Let me ask you a question. Do you think about religious life ? What is your motivation? What are you dreaming about? Some persons consciously or unconsciously enter congregations :
- to have secure, comfortable life
- to have financial security
- to get education
- to have position and influence on others
- to get high social status
What if a congregation asks you to go to a simple, remote place and none of the above is realized ? Would it still be possible for you to be happy ? Think about it very well because surely none of these motivations could truly satisfy your heart.

"For anyone who wants to save his life will lose it; but anyone who loses his life for my sake will find it. What then will a man gain if he wins the whole world and ruins his very self ?" (Mt 16; 25-26)

These words made our Founder St Anthony Mary Claret to abandon his profitable career in the textile industry and follow Christ in priestly missionary life.

What would give you true happiness? Please ponder on this question. On this depend your life and direction.

What is the single, non-negotiable foundation upon which every successful organization, strategy, and ambition is built? It is the invisible yet indestructible bond of deep, mutual trust.

As a leader, your number one job is to create trust. You can have the clearest vision, the best strategy, the boldest goals. But if your people don't trust you, and if they don't trust each other, nothing else works. Without trust, even the most brilliant plans crumble under the weight of skepticism, self-preservation, and fear. Strategy may set your direction, but trust provides the momentum and psychological safety required to execute it.

When trust is absent, energy is wasted on defending territory, second-guessing decisions, and working in silos. But when a leader prioritizes trust above all else, the entire dynamic shifts. Open communication replaces guarded silence, collaboration triumphs over competition, and people feel safe to take bold risks. Trust is the oxygen of high-performing teams—it transforms individual capabilities into collective genius, turning ambitious goals into extraordinary reality.

Vision sets the destination, but trust fuels the journey. Prioritize trust above all else, and watch your team achieve the impossible.

Some leaders leave people feeling smaller...

Without ever raising their voice.

Others leave people believing they can do things they never thought possible.

That's influence.

Not control.

Not authority.

Not position.

The question every leader should ask isn't,

Did they listen to me?

It's...

Did they leave believing more in themselves than when they arrived?

A gentle reminder: The greatest leaders don't collect followers. They multiply confidence.
