Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
We do need to be willing to surrender to our Father God, who loves these kiddos even more than we do. The idea of surrender often brings up connotations of vulnerability. Yes, vulnerability can feel uncomfortable, especially for those in the First World who desire to be autonomous and independent.
But when it comes to any plan that can impact the children we are parenting – the wise parent hits their knees. Gratefully, you and I can be in communion with the One who is omniscient, omnipresent, and eternally focused on being in a relationship with His children.
