History:

The OLMCP Youth, which stands for Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Youth, has a history that dates back to 1961 when it was established as one of the pastoral groups within the parish. A notable milestone in the history of OLMCP Youth occurred on November 3, 2006, during the leadership of the late Rev. At that time, the OLMCP Youth Council transitioned into a Ministry within the parish. This change in status reflects the growing importance and responsibilities of the youth group within the church community. As a Ministry, OLMCP Youth likely took on a more structured and official role in contributing to the spiritual and community life of the parish, engaging in various activities, and continuing to serve the needs of the church and its members. This transition marked a significant development in the organization's history, demonstrating its commitment to the parish and its mission. Ang Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish kasama ang buong Diyosesis ng Cubao ay nakikiisa para sa isasagawang โ€œTrillion Pesos Marchโ€ na gaganapin sa Setyembre 21, 2025, sa People Power Monument.

DIOCESAN ACTIVITIES (MYA) The Ministry is very responsive to the activities of the Diocese for the youth through the initiative of the Ministry for Youth Affairs such as: 1.World Youth Day local celebration held last July at Lourdes School. The members of the Ministry were involved in the production as staff, organizers, animators, and actors. 2.JesuPolis (City of Jesus) 3.Delegates for the World Youth Day Krakow Poland 4.Delegates for the National Youth Day VICARIATE ACTIVITIES The Ministry is very proud for our fellow members who are appointed as servant-leaders of the Sto. Nino Vicariate Youth Ministry which is also headed by Kuya Ivan Del Fierro as the VYM Coordinator. This is a good indicator that the Ministry cooperates and collaborates fully to the goals and activities of the Vicariate Youth Ministry, such as: 1. Vicariate Sports Fest (host parish) -April to May 2018 2.Vicariate Youth Day โ€“November 2017 PARISH ACTIVITIES The Ministry is always in a โ€œYESโ€ whenever the Parish needs help. We integrate our service through the different Ministries, and other organizations in the Parish, such as: 1.Stewardship program: iBaHaGi 2.Parish Outreach programs
