St. Teresa of Los Andes reminds us of a beautiful truth: our deepest joy does not come from having everything go our way—it comes from knowing that we are loved by God.

When we know that we are loved, we can smile even in ordinary moments, serve with greater joy, face difficulties with hope, and give ourselves generously. Why? Because we already have the One who is everything.

Our joy is not dependent on circumstances. It flows from the heart that can say: “God loves me, and that is enough.”

So today, whatever you do, do it joyfully! Study joyfully. Work joyfully. Serve joyfully. Pray joyfully. Love joyfully. Even in the little things, let your life become a testimony that a heart loved by God can never run out of reasons to rejoice.

God is not simply the source of our joy. He IS our infinite joy.

A beautiful reminder stands within the vicinity of the National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help also known as Redemptorist or Baclaran Church: the statue of our dear 𝐒𝐭. 𝐓𝐡é𝐫è𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐞𝐮𝐱. 🌹

A cloistered nun who lived her hidden life in a small convent in Lisieux, France, has somehow reached the corners of the world—not through great journeys, but through the simple and powerful way of 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞. Her little way reminds us that love knows no boundaries, and even the smallest acts done with great love can touch lives far beyond what we can imagine.

Today, a historic moment began for the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, as the 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗿𝘀, 𝗡𝘂𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 (𝗢𝗖𝗗𝗦) officially signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at Gilmore Carmel, Quezon City.

The objectives of this Agreement are to establish a coordinated vocation promotion program among the Friars, Nuns, and Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites (OCDS) that presents the shared Carmelite charism while clearly communicating the distinct identity, vocation, and mission of each branch. Through joint promotional, educational, evangelization, and engagement initiatives, the parties seek to increase awareness of Carmelite vocations, encourage discernment, and optimize available human, financial, technological, and communication resources. Furthermore, this collaboration aims to develop and disseminate vocation promotion materials across digital, traditional, and other appropriate media platforms, while establishing a unified system for efficiently receiving, referring, and responding to vocation inquiries.

May Our Lady of Mount Carmel bless this unified effort, for more vocations for the Church and our Order!

𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐍𝐎𝐖!

The second Search-In Program for this year has just concluded. Despite the difficulty of conducting a hybrid Search-In, the Vocation Team was able to carry out meaningful sessions—from the inspiring vocation story of Bro. Medel Sealana, OCD, to the comprehensive history of the Order that encapsulates its contemplative and missionary zeal throughout its history, given by our very own Rev. Fr. Vito Competente, Jr., OCD, Prior of the Minor Basilica of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our searchers who joined us both onsite and online. May the Lord continue to inspire you to move forward in your discernment. With your little steps, you will encounter God along the way.
