*RHAPSODY OF REALITIES*

Rev. Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD

*YOU’RE A SUCCESS*

Tuesday 26th May 2026

*“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” / Joshua 1:8*

An orange seed may look small and unimpressive, but inside it is the capacity to produce an orange tree that’ll in turn produce multiplied fruits with several seeds in them. Everything the orange tree will ever be is already contained in that seed. The seed doesn’t need to “become” an orange; it’s already one. It only needs the right environment for what’s already inside it to manifest.

If that orange seed had a mouth and said, “I’m an orange,” someone might reply, “You don’t look like an orange; stop bragging.”
But the seed isn’t lying or bragging; it carries the orange nature; put it in the right environment and see. That was how I saw myself when I was still a teenager. I found out I was a success forever because the life of God, His seed, was in me, and I started declaring it and went ahead to start holding “Success in Life Seminars.”

I would say, “I’m a success,” and some people wondered, “What’s he talking about?”
But I knew. I wasn’t saying it because I had already done everything I wanted to do. I was saying it because I understood what was inside me.

That’s the life Christ has given us; you’re a success going somewhere to happen. Those who don’t know you may say you’re not but that’s because they don’t know your real identity. They don’t understand the work of God in your life. You’re God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for endless victories, glory and excellence (Ephesians 2:10).

His Word says concerning you that whatsoever you do prospers (Psalm 1:3). Stay in the Word and live true to your identity, and what God has put inside you will manifest in every place.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I thank you for the truth of your Word that reveals my identity. I live with the consciousness of victory and success, and I manifest the realities of Christ in my life. My faith prevails, and my results are a reflection of your glory and righteousness in my spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY*

*Joshua 1:8 AMPC —*
This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

*Psalm 1:1-3 —*
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

THE PLACE WHERE GRACE WINS.
One of the quietest battles people fight is the feeling of never being enough.
Not good enough.
Not worthy enough.
Not successful enough.
Not healed enough.
Not strong enough.

Humanity spends so much of life trying to earn what God already knew we could never achieve on our own. We try to fix ourselves through performance, image, money, success, relationships, religion, distraction, or perfectionism. But the deeper truth remains the same:

None of us are good enough without God.

That is not condemnation.
That is the reality of being human.

The standard was never human perfection. The standard reveals why we need salvation in the first place. Every person eventually reaches the end of themselves somewhere. Some reach it through failure. Some through grief. Some through exhaustion. Some through hidden sin. Some through realizing that even after accomplishing everything they chased, something inside still feels empty.

That is the place where grace begins to make sense.

Jesus Christ did not come for people who had everything together. He came for people who finally realized they never could.

Romans 3:23–24 (ESV):
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”

All means all.

The successful.
The broken.
The religious.
The doubting.
The addicted.
The exhausted.
The person quietly fighting battles nobody else can see.

Grace is not God pretending sin is small. Grace is God making a way for people who could never save themselves.

That is why the cross matters so deeply.

The cross is where pride dies.
Where striving ends.
Where shame loses its grip.
Where mercy speaks louder than failure.

Ephesians 2:8–9 (ESV):
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

The world teaches people to prove themselves.
Jesus offers salvation to the people who finally admit they cannot.

And strangely, that surrender becomes freedom.

Heaven’s Breath:
The place where grace wins is usually the place where human strength runs out.

Prayer:
Jesus Christ, thank You for making a way where I never could. Teach me to stop striving for worth You already offered through the cross. Help me walk in humility, truth, repentance, and peace. Amen.

"And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled ALL the house where they were sitting." -Acts 2:1,2

Today is Pentecost Sunday, and Pentecost is God saying to you that He does not just want you to "know about Him"; He wants you to know Him!
