Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.

The UP Diliman Muslim Students’ Association humbly appeals to the generosity and compassion of our community in support of the parent of one of our beloved members.

At present, her father has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as he continues to undergo treatment for Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer and faces serious complications, including the risk of kidney failure. In light of these difficult circumstances, UP MSA is respectfully calling for donations to help support his medical expenses and assist his family during this challenging time. Any amount would be deeply appreciated and would greatly contribute to easing their financial burden.

Contact details are provided accordingly. We also humbly request everyone to keep his family in your du’as in praying for his recovery as they navigate this difficult period.

May Allah grant him shifā’ and grant patience to their family, and may He also abundantly reward everyone for extending their assistance and empathy.

Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar. La ilaha illallahu wallahu akbar. Allahu akbar walillahi’l hamd.

Today, we look back to the willingness of 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙩 𝙄𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙝𝙞𝙢 in submission to the will of Allah. In return, Allah saved his son 𝙄𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙡 from being sacrificed, by replacing him with a sheep. That is why we honor this blessed day by sharing Qurbani to one another, while we exchange greetings and extend our blessings to the community. 🤝🐑

And in this day of gratitude, we are reminded to strengthen our faith in Allah amidst the struggles and the challenges we face within the different spaces of this Dunya. 🌏✨️

Ya Allah, accept all the prayers and good deeds of the pilgrims who have visited Your House, and of the Ummah of Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Muhammad. 🕌 Ameen! 🤲

𝟭𝟲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝟮𝟲 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝟰𝟰𝟳 ✨

It has already been more than a month since we celebrated this year’s Eid al-Fitr. As easy it is to get caught in the mumble jumble of daily life and the current baggage we carry—transitioning from our Ramdhan routines to suddenly being catapulted back into the incessant grind that we may have temporary relinquished during the Holy Month to prioritize our ibadah—we invite you to pause and look back with intention. Together, let us reminisce UP MSA’s Grand Iftar 2026:

𝐎𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞: 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧. 🌙

The community spent one of the blessed nights of Laylatul Qadr 🌌, the last 10 nights of Ramadhan, in a gathering open to all, may it be the Muslim community on campus and beyond, or our non-Muslim brothers and sisters who were willing to share the experience and celebration. We began the night by breaking our fast together—performing our evening prayers and enjoying a simple but heartfelt feast, prepared by the community itself, where everyone brought what they could and placed it on the table for all to share. 💙

In the midst of the heartfelt conversations and meals, Khalid Bashier and Shariful Mansul offered reflections that brought us back to the essence of Ramadhan and how it anchors us to the very identity and to the homeland we continue tostruggle for. Indeed Ramadhan is a way back home. 🏡🌱

To close the evening, we had a slideshow presentation to revisit “Ramadhan with MSA Over the Years”, featuring the org’s moments filled with meaning, joy, service, and many faces that have shaped this community. 🌻 Each clip and image served as a reminder that while we move forward and time remains borrowed, the shared experiences and memories we carry continue to ripple through us, leaving lasting imprints beyond the nights we once held close. 🫂

What a gift it is to have been given this night at all. To look around and know that Allah (SWT) allowed our paths to meet, at the same time and place, under the same Ramadhan. Us being together was never random. Qadr is what it was.

Alhamdulillah for this family He allowed us to have, even if only for a borrowed time.⏳✨
