Another Sunday well spent with our Faith & Sight fam! 🥹🫶✨

We worshipped, learned, laughed, and enjoyed another day together in God’s presence! 🤍

Last Sunday, we were reminded through 2 Peter 1:3 (NIV) that God has given us everything we need for a life that honors Him. ✝️ Sometimes we look for what we need in so many places, when God has already provided what we need through His grace and power. 🕊️

So grateful for everyone who came and made our Sunday extra special! 🥹🤍

📖 Matthew 6:34 (NIV)

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

🌿 Devotion

Minsan, ang hirap talagang manatili sa present dahil busy na busy ang isip natin sa mga bagay na mangyayari pa lang. Iniisip natin ang future, mga plans natin, mga possible problems, at kung magiging okay ba ang lahat. Hanggang sa hindi natin namamalayan, nauubos na ang energy natin kakaisip ng mga bagay na wala pa naman sa harap natin. Pero sa Matthew 6:34, pinapaalala sa atin ni Jesus na hindi natin kailangang dalhin ang bigat ng bukas habang nandito pa tayo sa ngayon.

Hindi ibig sabihin nito na bawal tayong magplano o mag-isip tungkol sa future. Pero gusto ni God na matutunan nating magtiwala sa Kanya, one day at a time. Hindi natin kontrolado ang lahat ng mangyayari bukas, pero kilala natin ang Diyos na may hawak ng bukas. Kaya kapag nagsisimula nang punuin ng worries ang puso at isip mo, huminga ka, magpahinga sandali, at i-remind ang sarili mo na sapat ang grace ni God para sa araw na ito. Focus on today, trust God with tomorrow, and allow yourself to live in the present without carrying burdens that God never asked you to carry.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, kapag puno ng worries ang isip at puso ko, tulungan Mo akong magtiwala sa Iyo. Remind me to focus on today and not be overwhelmed by the things I cannot control. Teach me to surrender my future and my anxieties to You, knowing that You are already there in every tomorrow. Give me peace for today and faith to trust You one day at a time. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🤍🙏

This Sunday’s Faith & Sight was extra special! 🥹✨

Kahit na maulan, ang dami pa rin nating nag-show up and spent our Sunday together! 🫶

Our verse for this Sunday was Matthew 5:16 (NIV), reminding us to let our light shine through our words, actions, and the way we live. A timely reminder that wherever we are and whatever we’re facing, we can still be a light and reflect God’s goodness. 🕯️✝️

Thank You, Lord, for another blessed Sunday! Grateful for everyone who came, worshipped with us, learned, laughed, and enjoyed the fellowship. 🥹🤍

📖 2 Peter 1:3 (NIV)

“His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.”

🌿 Devotion

Minsan, iniisip natin na kailangan pa nating magkaroon ng mas maraming bagay, mas maraming kaalaman, o mas maraming strength bago natin kayang mamuhay para kay God. Pero ipinapaalala sa atin ng 2 Peter 1:3 na God has already given us everything we need for a godly life.

Hindi ibig sabihin na magiging madali ang lahat. May mga araw na mapapagod tayo, malilito, o mararamdaman nating hindi tayo sapat. Pero hindi tayo tinawag ni Lord na mamuhay gamit lang ang sarili nating kakayahan. Through knowing Him, binibigyan Niya tayo ng wisdom, strength, grace, and guidance na kailangan natin sa bawat araw.

Kaya sa halip na laging isipin na “Hindi ko kaya,” pwede nating itanong, “Lord, paano Mo ako gustong mamuhay today?” Ang buhay na maka-Diyos ay hindi lang nakikita sa malalaking bagay. Nakikita ito sa choices natin, sa paraan ng pakikitungo natin sa iba, sa pagiging honest, sa pagpapatawad, sa pagsunod kahit walang nakakakita, at sa patuloy na pagtitiwala kay God.

God has already provided what we need. Ang part natin ay kilalanin Siya, magtiwala sa Kanya, at gamitin ang mga binigay Niya sa atin para mamuhay na nagbibigay ng glory sa Kanya.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, thank You because You have given me everything I need to live a life that honors You. Kapag nakakaramdam ako na hindi ako sapat, remind me that I don’t have to depend on my own strength alone. Help me know You deeper, trust You more, and follow You in my everyday choices. Teach me to use what You have given me for Your purpose and glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🤍

"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

🌿 Devotion

Bilang followers ni Christ, may purpose ang buhay natin na higit pa sa sarili nating goals at achievements. Tinawag tayo ni Lord para maging ilaw sa mundong nangangailangan ng pag-asa, kabutihan, at pagmamahal. Hindi natin kailangang gumawa ng malalaking bagay para mag-shine ang light natin. Minsan, nagsisimula ito sa simpleng pagtulong, pagpapatawad, pag-encourage sa iba, o pagiging mabuting halimbawa sa araw-araw.

Kapag pinipili nating mamuhay para kay God at maglingkod sa iba nang may pagmamahal, mas nakikita ng mga tao ang kabutihan Niya sa pamamagitan ng buhay natin. Ang goal natin ay hindi para mapansin tayo, kundi para maituro ang iba kay Jesus. Kaya wherever God has placed you, let your life reflect His love, His grace, and His light. Baka ang simpleng kabutihang ginagawa mo ngayon ang maging dahilan para may isang taong mas mapalapit sa Kanya.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, thank You for giving my life a purpose. Help me become a light that reflects Your love and goodness wherever I go. Teach me to serve others with humility, kindness, and compassion so that through my life, people will see You and give You glory. May I always choose to live in a way that honors You. In Jesus' name, Amen. 💛

✨ As we end this month of August, I pray that each of us will continue to walk in God's wisdom, find peace in His presence, live with a grateful heart, and shine His light wherever He leads us. This Sunday's Faith & Sight sesh is 🔥👀

Thank You, Lord! Talagang naging blessed at na-remind ang lahat of Your goodness during this Sunday's session! 🥹✨

We used 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV) as the theme for our devotion. Being reminded to remain grateful despite all our circumstances made us realize how good You are, God. Truly, You are bigger than our bad days and difficult seasons! ✝️🥺

Pero aside from that, na-enjoy din ng lahat ang games, so next week ulit? 👀🐟

"Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

🌿 Devotion

Madaling magpasalamat kapag okay ang lahat. Pero paano kapag hindi nangyayari ang mga plano natin? Paano kapag may pinagdadaanan tayong hindi natin maintindihan? Sinasabi sa 1 Thessalonians 5:18 na magpasalamat tayo sa lahat ng pagkakataon. Hindi dahil lahat ng nangyayari ay maganda, kundi dahil nananatiling mabuti at tapat ang Diyos sa bawat season ng buhay natin.

Ang pusong marunong magpasalamat ay unti-unting natututong makita ang kabutihan ni God kahit sa maliliit na bagay. Habang pinipili nating magpasalamat, mas napapalitan ang reklamo ng contentment, ang worry ng peace, at ang takot ng tiwala. Hindi man natin kontrolado ang lahat ng nangyayari, pwede pa rin nating piliing magtiwala at magpasalamat sa Diyos na hindi kailanman nagbabago.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in every season of my life. Teach me to have a grateful heart, not only when life is easy but also when it's difficult. Help me see Your blessings each day and remind me that You are always working for my good. May my heart always choose gratitude and trust in You. In Jesus' name, Amen. 💛

Soooper grateful for this weather, Lord! 🥹💚 Week 2 of our Faith and Sight Fam! 🫶✨

Ang saya sa puso na maraming naka-attend uli! This week, marami rin ang nakapag-share and stayed with us. Sa mga need umuwi nang maaga, we saw you and thank you pa rin! 👀🫶

Sobrang nakaka-bless seeing everyone feel comfortable enough to share their reflections from this week’s devotion. 🥹💚

Praying that this small gathering continues to be a space where we can grow in faith, connect with one another, and experience God’s love together. 🫶

📖 Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

🌿 Devotion

Minsan, sobrang bilis ng takbo ng buhay. Sunod-sunod ang deadlines, responsibilities, at expectations kaya parang wala ka nang oras huminga. Sa dami ng kailangang gawin, madaling mawala ang peace at mapuno ng pagod ang puso. Pero sa Isaiah 40:31, pinapaalala sa atin na kapag inilalagay natin ang pag-asa natin kay Lord, Siya ang nagre-renew ng ating strength. Hindi lang para matapos ang mga gawain, kundi para magkaroon ng kapayapaan habang tinatahak natin ang bawat araw.

Hindi ibig sabihin ng peace ay wala nang problema o busy na schedule. Ang tunay na peace ay ang assurance na kasama mo si God sa gitna ng lahat ng ginagawa mo. Habang nagtitiwala tayo sa Kanya at inuuna ang presensya Niya, pinapalitan Niya ang ating pagod ng panibagong lakas at ang ating worries ng kapayapaan. Kaya kahit puno ang schedule mo, tandaan mo na hindi mo kailangang dalhin ang lahat mag-isa. Rest in His presence, and let Him carry what you cannot.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, thank You for being my peace in the middle of life's busy moments. When I feel overwhelmed and tired, remind me to pause and place my hope in You. Renew my strength, calm my anxious heart, and help me walk through each day with confidence that You are always with me. In Jesus' name, Amen. 💛
