With joyful hearts and thanksgiving to the Lord, the Dominican Province of the Philippines is happy to announce that on May 23, 2026, on the Vigil of Pentecost, three Dominican brothers will have their Solemn Profession to the Order of Preachers:

BR. RAE AARON A. AGUILAR, OP
BR. MICHAEL SATRIA ABI DILEYON, OP

"By profession, we dedicate ourselves to God, following Christ to lead an evangelical life in the Order. In this way our baptismal consecration becomes more fully effective. By the profession of obedience we bind ourselves to live the evangelical counsels, renouncing certain things of undoubted value without detriment to true human development. We embrace Christ's self-emptying while sharing in his life in the Spirit. So, by being faithful, we give a clearer witness in the Church to the values of the kingdom of heaven." (LCO 189, § l and Il)

Let us continue praying with them for the perseverance of their Dominican vocation. God bless you, Brothers!

In joyful thanksgiving to God, the Dominican family celebrates the 60th Profession Anniversary of Rev. Fr. Norberto Castillo, OP, and Rev. Fr. Honorato Castigador, OP, marking six decades of faithful religious life and preaching in the Order of Preachers.

The Eucharistic Celebration was concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Filemon Dela Cruz, Jr., OP, Prior Provincial of the Dominican Province of the Philippines, together with Rev. Fr. Marc Adrian Dela Peña, OP, of the House of the Most Holy Rosary in Iloilo. The celebration was also attended by Dominican friars from different communities, united in prayer and gratitude for the enduring witness of their brothers in religious life.
