Started in 1969 as a continental Catholic radio station to serve Asian countries in their respective local languages, RVA earned the tag “the Voice of Asian Christianity.”

Radio Veritas Asia is a major project of the Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conferences or FABC in collaboration with the Catholic Bishops’ Conferences of the Philippines or CBCP through Philippine Radio Educational & Information

Center, Inc. (PREIC). Responding to the emerging media context, in 2018, RVA moved from short-wave radio to digital media platforms. RVA proclaims the Good News through websites and all the social media platforms in English and 21 Asian Languages: Bengali, Chin Falam, Chin Hakha, Chin Tedim, Hindi, Hmong, Kachin Jinghpaw, Kachin Lisu, Kachin Rawang, Karen Sgaw, Karen Pwo, K’Cho, Khmer, Mandarin, Myanmar, Sinhala, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Vietnamese, and Zo. RVA offers inspiring reflections, motivational quotes, in-depth learning about Scripture, inspiring stories of people, daily Mass, devotional prayers, and meditations. RVA provides information about the Church through news, features, and commentaries. Today RVA has emerged as the digital voice of the Church in Asia, engaging both "global" and "local" Asians in continuous dialogue on religion, culture, and solidarity with the poor. The fifth day of the Plenary Assembly on July 25 focused on servant leadership, regional collaboration, and Eucharistic spirituality as bishops and delegates continued discerning the Church's synodal journey in Asia.

During the Feast of St. James the Apostle, Cardinal Anthony Poola, President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India, reminded bishops that their vocation is rooted not in honor or authority but in humble service after the example of Christ. Delegates also gathered for regional discussions to strengthen collaboration among the local Churches of Asia following the Assembly's work on a Vademecum for Synodality in Asia.

In the afternoon, Pope Leo XIV addressed the Assembly through a video message, encouraging the Church in Asia to deepen its Eucharistic spirituality as the source of communion, unity, and its mission to become authentic bridge builders across the continent.

The fifth day of the Plenary Assembly on July 24 centered on listening as the foundation of evangelization and synodality. During the daily Eucharistic celebration, Cardinal Pablo Virgilio David, Vice President of the Federation of Asian Bishops' Conferences (FABC), reminded delegates that authentic evangelization begins not with speaking, but with listening—to God, to one another, and to the lived experiences of the people.

The day's plenary session continued this theme as Cardinal Mario Grech, Secretary General of the Synod of Bishops, presented "Pathways for the Implementation of the Synod."
