Isang maalab na pagbati mula sa Mayors for Good Governance (M4GG) para sa ating convenor, Mayor Joy Belmonte, sa pagtanggap niya ng kauna-unahang Exemplar City Mayor Award mula sa Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII).

Ang prestihiyosong parangal na ito ay isang malinaw na pagkilala sa kanyang tapat at mahusay na pamamahala. Iginawad ito batay sa mataas na pamantayan ng integridad, transparency, at accountability sa tamang paggamit ng pondo ng bayan. Kinilala rin ang kanyang masigasig na pagsusulong ng isang business-friendly city at ang epektibong pagpapatupad ng iba't ibang development programs.

Ayon sa Republic Act No. 8485, o ang Animal Welfare Act of 1998, ipinagbabawal ang pagpapahirap, pagpapabaya, at ano mang uri ng kalupitan sa lahat ng hayop.

Ang mga lumalabag sa batas na ito ay maaaring maharap sa pagkakulong at maaaring pagmultahin, alinsunod sa RA 10631.

Sa mga kaso ng pang-aabuso o pagpapabaya sa hayop, siguraduhing kumuha ng ebidensya (larawan o video) at i-report ito agad sa inyong lokal na pamahalaan (LGU) o barangay.

Dog Accident Update 🐾

A huge thank you to QCDRRMO and Vet to Petz Veterinary Clinic, especially Ma’am Jam, for their immediate assistance and compassion toward our canine patient.

We sincerely appreciate the administration of pain-relief medication to help ease the dog's condition, as well as the generous loan of a large cage that now serves as a temporary shelter while the dog remains safely contained at the barangay and awaits pickup by the Quezon City Veterinary Department.

Your kindness, dedication, and commitment to animal welfare are truly commendable. Thank you for helping us provide care and comfort to this furbaby in need.

Also thanks to the dedicated efforts of Punong Barangay Paolo Concepcion, Kagawad Julie Estrellado, Secretary Chie Danganan, Raynard Ampong, and the BPSO team for their swift response, coordination, and commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of the injured dog.

Baka may nakakakilala po kung sino ang may ari ng furbaby na ito, mukhang nakatakas lang po siya dahil meron po siyang collar, nasagasaan po siya kahapon pero buhay pa po.

Baka kayo po ang nag mamay-ari sa kanya kasalukuyan po siyang nasa ilalim ng sasakyan sa Liberation Street corner Mindanao Ave.
