The Parish Youth Ministry is composed of all youth members of mandated organizations, other groups and movements in the Parish and individual youth in the Parish who are not yet involved in any organization or group within the age of 13 to 39. Young Professionals

Take note: Youth are characterized as single individua

ls and those without any kids yet. If you are a mom or dad already, you belong to the Family Life Ministry. The church must become the traveling companion of young people—and that is what we mean by youth ministry. If, indeed, “it takes an entire village to raise a child,” then it certainly takes an entire church to journey with young people as they grapple with the Good News and respond in discipleship. The National Conference of Catholic Bishops, in their 1997 document, Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry, identified three goals and eight components which provide direction for this ministry. Youth ministry, at its best, is characterized by the following five hallmarks:

Discipleship
Connection
Giftedness and growth
Comprehensiveness
Entire church (parish) involvement

Happy New Year from the Mafia—este, from the PYM Fam! 🎆

Wishing everyone a wonderful and warm New Year.

In 2026, we’re ready for new milestones, new challenges, and bringing the youth closer to Jesus. We’re sticking together every step of the way!

SPPYM WRAP 2025 💞
Thank you, 2025 ✨

2025 was a dream come true for PYM! We entered the year with hope and kept that energy going all year long.

We started the year with a blast at the Sinulog Dance. In February, we led the Fiesta preparations. In March and April, we made history by holding our first-ever Senakulo. In May, we attended CAMP-i in the Diocese. In August, we made a comeback for Rocklive. Then in September, we helped the Parish welcome the Bishop for his Pastoral Visit. In October, we reached a milestone as we celebrated lour 18th Parish Youth Day, while also holding our PYM 101 and General Assembly. In November, we participated in Diocesan Youth Day. And in December, we celebrated the year with our Year-End Party.

Through every milestone, challenge, and celebration, we’ve grown closer together. We are so grateful for every single youth member in our parish.

Ngayong pasko, sabay-sabay nating ipagdiwang ang kapanganakan ni Kristo—ang tunay na pinagmumulan ng pag-asa at liwanag. Sa pagpasok ng susunod na taon, nawa’y mapuno ang ating mga puso ng liwanag, pananampalataya, at pagmamahal na handa nating ibahagi sa iba.

Kahit ano pa ang pinagdadaanan, paalala ng Pasko na laging may pag-asa, dahil buhay si Kristo sa ating mga puso.

Punong puno ng enerhiya, puso at sigla at ang mga kabataan na nakilahok sa aktibidad pang diyosesis at tunay na sila ay nakabuo ng pag-asa at bagong mga kaibigan.
