Yesterday was a meaningful time of fellowship and faith as we gathered for our screening of Woodlawn! 🎬

From the 3Ds —dependence, discernment, and discipleship — the story reminded us how powerful faith can be on and off the field. Our faith calls us to love, as written in John 13:34–35: “Love one another... By this, everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

May we remain united in faith, truth, and love for the glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Last Sunday-Hi, we were reminded of where true renewal comes from. It is not from ourselves, but from a transformation of the mind in Christ. Let's remember the words given to us last Youth Worship: "At the heart of the matter is the matter of the heart."

Youth worship presents: The Love Reset

When we talk about love, we think about worldly things such as heartbreak, rebounds, flings, and situationships. But the truth is, romantic love is so much more than that. As we dive deeper into understanding the truth about love, we learn that it is also a commitment and a divine mandate that we are called to embody. 💞

It will take a while for us members of the youth, but as we grow into marriage, the males transition from being a subordinate son to being the head of the new household, whereas the wife passes on supreme parental authority to her husband. After all, God’s design is purely to multiply, spread out, and fill the earth with His own likeness. ☝

In order to be able to reset our hearts in His love, we should grow in our image, which allows us to hone in our attributes that can follow in the image of the Lord; dominion, which gives us the power to act as His managers; purpose, as we let marriage be the proclamation of His Good News; provision, as we walk into His own preparation; and lastly, presence, which lets us do anything as long as we are walking in His presence. 🖐🏻

We live in an age of endless options. Modern romance claims to be evolving, progressing, and getting "smarter."

Yet, the statistics show we are actually regressing. Loneliness is up, confusion is high, and relationships are fragile.

Maybe it’s not about an update. Maybe it’s time for a factory reset. 🔄

Join us this Youth Worship for THE LOVE RESET: Why Modern Romance Is Broken — and How Jesus Can Reboot It.

We’re stripping away the culture's confusion to tap back into the Source. We’re going back to the Manufacturer’s template found in the Bible to discover the intended design for relationships.

Let’s go back to the beginning. Let’s find the solid foundation.

Week 1 Theme: Adoration (Fixing our hearts on who God is)
Day 1: Worship God – the Creator
Date: January 27, 2026 – Tuesday

S – Scripture
• Read Psalm 95:1–7 at least three times—slowly and prayerfully.

O – Observation
True worship begins when we recognize God as our Creator. Ang tunay na pagsamba ay nagsisimula sa pagkilala na tayo ay nilikha lamang at Siya ang ating Maker. Adoration flows from humility, acknowledging that our lives depend fully on Him.

As we read Psalm 95, we see that God owns everything—from the depths of the earth to the heights of the mountains. He isn't just a part of our lives; He is the owner of the very ground we stand on. Recognition of His ownership removes our pride and replaces it with awe. Kapag binubulay-bulay natin na Siya ang lumikha ng lahat, doon lamang natin matatanto na tayo ay mga tupa sa Kanyang kawan at may kaligtasan tanging sa Kanyang mga kamay.

An Illustration: The Potter and the Clay
Imagine a Potter working with a lump of clay on a spinning wheel. The clay doesn't tell the Potter what to do; it simply yields to the pressure of the Potter's fingers.

Ang ganda ng isang sisidlan ay hindi galing sa sarili nitong galing, kundi sa disenyo at kamay ng gumagawa. Often, we forget that we are the clay. We get frustrated when the "Wheel of Life" spins fast, forgetting that the Master Potter is using that movement and pressure to shape us into something beautiful. To adore God as Creator is to trust His hands, even when we don't understand the shape we are taking. We worship Him because He is the only one who can turn a lump of dust into a vessel of honor.

A – Application
1. Reverence or Routine? How do I usually approach God; in reverence or routine? Sa pagsisimula ng fasting na ito, is my heart truly in awe of God, o ginagawa ko lang ba itong obligasyon?
2. Bowing the Heart: What does it mean for me to bow my heart before Him today? Anong bahagi ng buhay ko ang pilit kong "nililikha" o kinokontrol mag-isa sa halip na ipaubaya sa kamay ng Panginoon?
3. Worship through Obedience: How can I show worship not only with words but with obedience? Ang pinakamagandang papuri sa ating Creator ay ang mamuhay ayon sa disenyo at layunin na itinakda Niya para sa atin.

P – Prayer
“Lord, You are my Maker and my God. I bow my heart before You today. Tinatanggap ko na Kayo ang may likha at may-ari ng aking buhay at ang lahat ng mayroon ako ay galing sa Inyo. Teach me to worship You with humility and awe. You alone are worthy of my praise, my time, and my sacrifice.

Patawarin Niyo po ako sa mga pagkakataong naging mapagmataas ako at inakalang ako ang may kontrol ng aking buhay at ng mga bagay. Habang nag-aayuno ako, let my heart be soft like clay in Your hands for You to mold and change towards Christlikeness.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.”
