May the Lord grant Fr. Edward eternal rest, and may perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of REV. FR. EDWARD ANTHONY A. COMETA, a priest of the Diocese of Cubao, who passed away today, September 11, 2026, at the age of 35.

As we grieve his passing, we entrust our brother priest to the merciful love of God, who called him to serve His Church through the sacred priesthood. We invite the clergy and faithful of the Diocese to unite in prayer for the repose of his soul, and to commend him to the Lord, that he may be welcomed into the fullness of eternal life.

The details of the wake, funeral rites, and burial will be announced as soon as they are finalized.

IN PHOTOS | Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Yesterday, we celebrated the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Holy Mass was presided over by our Rector and Parish Priest, Fr. Jun Pascual.

The celebration was followed by a procession around our community. The rain did not stop the devotees from walking together with Mary. The rain did not dampen our spirits; instead, it became a beautiful reminder of our faith and our willingness to journey with her.

Indeed, we are truly a “Pueblo Amante de Maria” — a people who love Mary. 💙
