We do not believe in any teaching that is contrary to the doctrines set forth therein. What the Bible did not include, it follows, therefore, that it excludes it. As Thomas Campbell has said, "Where the Bible speak, we speak; where the Bible is silent, we are silent." This is the same way the Apostle Peter said in 1 Peter 4:11 likewise the Apostle Paul in 2 Tim. 3:15-17; 1 Cor. 4:6. We were known
to be faithful to the words of God since time immemorial. The old members of this congregation ordained the first four elders to oversee this congregation. It has been known for its sound teachings regardless on how others see them. What they intend was to forget all of their opinions and to go back to the simple teachings of the New Testament concerning the church and its doctrines. Church of Christ encountered various issues that almost tore them apart. It endured the trials and temptations it encountered over the years. Now, they are striving hard to work on their own to preach the gospel unto all nations and baptize sinners who repented in the name of Christ for the remission of sins. The congregation has three (3) elders and five (5) deacons at present. They are governed by their faithful male members of their congregation. REGARDING SALVATION
1. In Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and fell short of the glory of God" the Apostle Paul intends to say that all people have committed sin and fell short of the glory of God. This particular provision of the New Testament did not include babies as part of those people who committed sin before the Lord. THE SINNERS ARE THOSE PEOPLE WHO KNEW SIN! THESE MEN AND WOMEN WERE ADULTS! NOT BABIES! The belief that babies are sinful cannot be found in Scripture. Thus, those who have committed a sin died spiritually. Hence, this is why sinners fell short of the glory of God as in Isaiah 59:2. So, it is essential for you to admit that you have sinned before God. Admitting it implies that you need Him to save your from your sins.
2. In John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son that whosoever shall believeth in Him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life" John speaks of God's initiative to save men from their bo***ge with sin. Man, on his own, can reach God because of sin. Every time you intend to go near to God, you will blinded by sin. For this sin to be removed from the way, God went down on earth to be the "the Way, the Truth, and the Life" John 14:6. Furthermore, "No one comes to the Father except through Me" (verse 7). So it necessary that we must accept Jesus Christ as God and our Savior.
3. For that instance, Christ died, was buried, and was risen from the dead (1 Cor. 15:1-3). This is the true Gospel that apostles, for many years, have been preaching to all nations. This is God's power unto salvation (Romans 1:16-17). According to Mark 16:16, "He that BELIEVETH and is BAPTIZED shall be SAVED." So it necessary for you to believe in the Gospel in order for you to be saved. But that does not end there.
4. You now have the idea about the gospel. You have learned it from this preacher. Now its time for you to believe thereon. In Acts 8:37, the eu**ch said he believed that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. By believing in Jesus Christ, you profess that you have accepted Him as your Savior.
5. In Acts 2:38, "Repent ye, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." This verse intends to say that one must repent and turn away from his sins and go back to God. Turn away from sin. Sin will only further kill your spirit and draw it away from God. Do no let that happen.
6. Prior to baptism, in Acts 8:37, the eu**ch confessed Jesus Christ. Likewise, a sinner who repented must confess Jesus publicly to profess his faith to Him just like what the Lord said in Matthew 10:32-33. Thus, Romans 10:9-10 speaks that by believing and the mouth of confession, one is led unto salvation.
7. Now, after all of these, one must be baptized by being immersed into the water as a sign of death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Rom. 6:3-6) for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38) in the name of the Lord (Acts 2:38; Matt. 28:18-19). According to 1 Peter 3:21, "Whereunto even BAPTISM doth also now SAVE US." After baptism, one is added to the church that is in Christ (Gal. 3:262-7), His body (Eph. 5:23), and a church that comprises the saved people of God.
8. Lastly, one must remain faithful unto the Lord for him to receive the crown of life (Rev. 2:10)
