Ministry for Youth Affairs (Diocese of Cubao)

Ministry for Youth Affairs (Diocese of Cubao) The Ministry for Youth Affairs (MYA-Cubao) is the ministry arm of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cubao for the youth. Jojo Simon as its first minister.

The Youth Ministry in the Diocese of Cubao was formally established on August 2003 as Diocesan Parish Youth Ministry with Fr. However, it has continuously adapted itself to face the challenges of the times. It was specifically in August 2009 that it has decided to streamline its operations in order to be more relevant to the prevailing youth and societal conditions. Taking cue from its mother diocese, the Archdiocese of Manila, the diocese recognized the great need to unite the youth and consolidate efforts in order to strengthen, systematize and solidify formation. Thus, the Ministry for Youth Affairs (MYA-Cubao) was born with its four sectors: Diocesan Parish Youth Ministry (DYPM), Transparochial Youth Ministry (TYM), Campus Ministry (CM) and Migrant Youth Ministry (MYM).
