Trying to please everyone is exhausting.

No matter what you do, online or in real life, people will always have something to say.

Some will support you, some will judge you, and others won’t even understand your heart.

So focus on this: please God, not people.

Choose what honors Him.
Choose what brings Him glory, not what’s trendy or popular.
Choose what God wants, not what others expect from you.

At the end of the day, it’s His “well done” that truly matters.

You are serving an audience of One.
You don’t have to prove yourself.
You don’t need everyone’s approval.

Live for Him, God’s approval is enough. 🙇🏻‍♂️

The Blessing of Attending Prayer Meeting

One of the most overlooked yet powerful ministries in the local church is the Prayer Meeting. While many believers are faithful in attending Sunday worship, few recognize the deep spiritual blessings that flow from consistently gathering together to pray. Prayer meetings are not optional add-ons to church life—they are God-ordained channels of power, unity, and spiritual growth.

‼️ Prayer Meeting Invites the Presence and Power of God

The Bible clearly shows that when God’s people gather to pray, God manifests His power. In the early church, believers devoted themselves to prayer, and God responded mightily.

In Acts 4:31 (KJV), the Bible says:

“And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost…”

Prayer meetings are places where spiritual dryness is replaced by revival, and weakness is exchanged for divine strength.

‼️ Prayer Meeting Strengthens Unity Among Believers

Corporate prayer unites hearts. When a church prays together, pride is humbled, burdens are shared, and love is strengthened.

Matthew 18:19–20 (KJV) reminds us:

“If two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father…”

Unity in prayer produces agreement, and agreement invites answers from heaven.

‼️ Prayer Meeting Builds Spiritual Maturity

Prayer is not only asking—it is aligning our hearts with God’s will. Regular attendance in prayer meetings disciplines the believer’s spiritual life and deepens faith.

According to James 5:16 (KJV):

“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

Believers who attend prayer meetings grow stronger in discernment, faithfulness, and dependence upon God rather than self.

‼️ Prayer Meeting Is a Channel of Blessings and Answers

Many prayers go unanswered not because God is unwilling, but because believers fail to gather and pray.

Hebrews 10:25 (KJV) exhorts us:

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together…”

God often chooses to bless His people collectively, not just individually. Prayer meetings become spiritual meeting points between heaven and earth.

‼️ Prayer Meeting Prepares the Church for Ministry and Soul-Winning

A praying church is a powerful church. Before the apostles preached, they prayed. Before souls were saved, the church labored in prayer.

Prayer meetings ignite compassion for the lost, burden for souls, and boldness in witnessing. No genuine revival ever started without prayer.

Attending prayer meetings is not a burden—it is a blessing. It is where believers experience God’s power, grow in unity, mature spiritually, and witness answered prayers. A church that prays together stands strong against temptation, discouragement, and spiritual decline.

Let us never undervalue the prayer meeting, for it is there that God meets His people and pours out His blessings abundantly.

“Much prayer, much power. Little prayer, little power. No prayer, no power.

Many Christians are dying spiritually,

Not because they fell into major sin.
Not because they stopped believing in God.
But because they slowly replaced God with everything else, and called it “being busy.”

Let’s say it plainly:

People don’t skip church because they’re busy.
They skip church because something else became more important.

We have time to go out.
Time to travel.
Time to shop.
Time to sleep in.
Time to scroll for HOURS.
Time to binge shows.
Time to hang out.
Time to do errands that could’ve waited.

But when it’s time to go to the house of God?

Suddenly, everyone’s “busy.”
Sunday becomes “rest day.”
Worship becomes “optional.”
Service becomes “kung kailan free.”

We see people wake up early for work,
but can’t wake up for worship.
We see people sacrifice for their hobbies,
but have no strength for ministry.
We see people push through traffic for their entertainment,
but church is “too far.”

Let’s be real:
It’s not a time issue.
It’s a HEART issue.

Because you always make time for what matters to you.

And here’s the sharp truth nobody wants to hear:

Many Christians have already left the church,
even if they’re still attending occasionally.
Their hearts are gone.
Their priorities shifted.
Their passion died.

Why?
Because the world successfully convinced them that what they’re doing is “important.”
That missing church “just this once” is harmless.
That skipping worship because you’re “tired” is understandable.
That serving God can wait.

But listen:

Hell will not announce its attack.
It will simply keep you busy until you slowly walk away from God without noticing.

Busy enough to miss church.
Busy enough to avoid ministry.
Busy enough to lose your fire.
Busy enough that you don’t even realize you’re backsliding.

And the devil laughs,
not because he destroyed you,
but because he distracted you.

Yet when life crashes,
when problems suffocate you,
when you feel empty, lost, broken,
guess who you run to?

The same God you kept pushing aside because you were “busy.”

“Seek FIRST the Kingdom of God…” (Matthew 6:33)
Not fifth.
Not last.
Not “if I have time.”
FIRST.

So here’s the rebuke:

Stop calling yourself too busy for God
when you’re fully available for everything else.

Stop skipping church for reasons you’d never dare use for work.
Stop treating worship like a chore.
Stop treating ministry like an interruption.
Stop treating God as if He should be grateful you even show up once a week.

One day,
you will stand before Him.
Your excuses won’t matter.
Your schedule won’t save you.
Your “busyness” won’t matter in eternity.

Serve Him now.
Seek Him now.
Show up now.
Because a faith that is always “busy”
will one day be a faith that is completely gone.
