Evangelist Edwin Dimaano

“Pamumuhay na Nagbibigay ng Kaluwalhatian sa Diyos”
1 Corinto 10:27–33

• Magiging mabuti ba itong patotoo?
• Makakatulong ba ito sa iba?

2. Mamuhay nang Banal at Hiwalay sa Kasalanan
1 Corinto 6:9
Roma 12:1

How Do We Know That You & Your Family Are Under Attack by the Devil?

Key Scriptures:
• Job 1:6–19
• John 10:10
• 1 Peter 5:8–9
• Luke 22:31–32

The Bible teaches that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). While not every hardship or temptation is a direct attack from Satan, believers are called to remain spiritually alert and steadfast in faith (1 Peter 5:8–9).

Possible Signs of Spiritual Attack
1. Unwillingness or laziness to pray.
2. Loss of interest in spiritual things.
3. Easily giving in to temptation and sin. (Matthew 26:41)
4. Easily provoked to anger.
5. Being short-tempered and lacking patience.
6. Family relationships are falling apart.
7. Harboring evil or negative thoughts toward fellow believers.
8. Being unwilling to forgive those who have offended you.
9. Losing interest in reading and obeying the Word of God.
10. Lack of unity within the family.
11. Living a life of compromise with sin.
12. Absence of God’s peace.
13. Uncontrolled fleshly desires.
14. Harboring hatred and jealousy.

Our Response
• Watch and pray continually. (Matthew 26:41)
• Resist the devil and stand firm in your faith. (1 Peter 5:8–9)
• Trust that Jesus intercedes for His people. (Luke 22:31–32)
• Remain in God’s Word and obey it daily.
• Walk in forgiveness, love, and unity.
• Remember that Christ came to give us life, and life abundantly. (John 10:10)

Conclusion:

The enemy’s goal is to weaken our relationship with God and divide our families. However, through prayer, faith in Christ, obedience to God’s Word, and the power of the Holy Spirit, believers can stand firm and overcome every spiritual attack.

God Is Looking for a Man
Text: Ezekiel 22:29–31

God works according to His divine principles. Throughout Scripture, God chooses to work through people to accomplish His purposes. He seeks men and women who are willing to stand in the gap, obey His voice, and become instruments of His will.

“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land... but I found none." — Ezekiel 22:30

God Is Looking for a Person Who...

1. Seeks the Truth
Reference: Jeremiah 5:1

God desires people who pursue truth, live by it, and are faithful to His Word.

2. Is Willing to Speak for God
Reference: Isaiah 6:8

Like Isaiah, we should have a heart that says, "Here am I; send me." God uses those who are willing to proclaim His message.

3. Has a Perfect (Wholehearted) Heart
Reference: 2 Chronicles 16:9

God searches for hearts that are fully devoted to Him, not divided by the world.

4. Is Humble
Reference: Isaiah 66:2

God looks with favor upon those who are humble and who tremble at His Word.

5. Has a Contrite and Repentant Heart

A repentant heart acknowledges sin, seeks God's forgiveness, and desires genuine transformation.

6. Has a Tender Heart
Reference: 2 Kings 22:1, 19

King Josiah responded with humility and tenderness when he heard God's Word. A tender heart is sensitive to God's conviction.

7. Worships the Lord in Spirit and in Truth
Reference: John 4:23–24

True worship is not merely outward activity but sincere devotion from the heart.

8. Has a Teachable Heart
References: Psalm 25:4; Psalm 143:10; Proverbs 12:1; Proverbs 13:1

A teachable heart is essential for spiritual growth.

Characteristics of a Teachable Heart
- Meekness
- Willingness to receive instruction
- Willingness to listen
- Willingness to obey
- Willingness to learn

Characteristics of an Unteachable Heart
- Pride
- Thinks they already know everything
- Self-willed
- Unwilling to understand
- Unwilling to learn
- Unwilling to submit
- Trusts in self even when wrong
- Closed-minded
- Leaves no room for growth

How Should We Respond to an Unteachable Heart?

When someone continually rejects correction and refuses to learn:

1. Leave them to their own decision after faithfully sharing the truth.
2. Do not exhaust yourself arguing or forcing them to change.
3. Do not beg them to accept instruction.

Remember that only God can change a person's heart. Our responsibility is to faithfully share His truth with love, patience, and wisdom.

Conclusion

God is still looking for people who will stand in the gap for others. The question is not whether God is searching—but whether we are willing to become the kind of person He is looking for.

May we have hearts that seek truth, remain humble, worship sincerely, receive correction, and obey God's voice so that He may use us for His glory.

Today, we thank God for the fathers who lead their families with love, wisdom, and faith. A godly father reflects the heart of our Heavenly Father through his guidance, sacrifice, and care.

“The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him.” — Proverbs 20:7

May God continue to strengthen, bless, and guide all fathers as they faithfully serve their families and honor Him. Your labor in the Lord is never in vain.

Happy Father’s Day to all fathers! May the Lord richly bless you and your family 💕💕💕
