Christ the Redeemer Church (CRC) is a continuing manifestation of God’s gracious work starting in 1996, when Pastor Dodie Diendo invited Lorenz and Norie Magsingit from Family Christian Fellowship to help in the evangelistic activities started by the group of elders and workers (including Kuya Ben and Ate Olga Quiñones, Kuya Manoling Omaoeng, Tatay Morden, Pastor Reden Ramos, and Pastor Demi Mier)
from Diliman Bible Church (DBC) in Northview 1, Quezon City. In response to the invitation, a Bible study was opened in the couple’s apartment located at Citrine Street, and on the 18th of September that year, the first Christ the Redeemer Church (CRC) Sunday worship service was held at Northview 1 Clubhouse. After a few regular Sunday worship services at the said clubhouse, CRC moved to Quiñones Residence at Diamond Street with 3 families regularly supporting the ministry. The following year, Pastor Randy Ramos accepted the call to serve as full time pastor, initiating various activities to reach out to subdivision’s homeowners. The venue for the regular Sunday worship service was moved back to Northview 1 Clubhouse, and then to Agapito’s Residence in Amber Street for a few months before CRC settled at its present location in the home of Magsingit-Salazar Family in Fairmont Park Subdivision. Its Bible study group was blessed and drew a considerable number of believers, who became the backbone of CRC, including the Batalla Family, Salinas Family, Vitallano Family, Bautista Family, Siena Family, Taculad Family, Torillo Family, and Vergara Family. In 2006, Pastor Dodie started to serve full time and senior pastor of CRC. Today, by the Lord’s grace, CRC is a progressive and independent house church ministry operating in partnership with urban poor churches under the umbrella of Ang Nagkakaisang Iglesia(ANI). At CRC, we celebrate our fellowship as one God’s family, obeying Him and always reminding ourselves that we are redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ as provided in 1 Peter 1:18, 19
“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”
- 1 Peter 1:18, 19
In our walk with God, we invite everyone to come, fellowship and carry the burden with us for His glory… forever.
