WELCOME BACK, SISTER DE GUZMAN!

We proudly welcome Sister De Guzman as she successfully completes her missionary service in the Philippines Baguio Mission. Her dedication, faith, and hard work have been a blessing to many, and we are grateful for the example she has shown throughout her mission. We rejoice with her family and loved ones as she returns home with honor.

She was welcomed with her family in the Manila Philippines Temple this Wednesday and was released later that day.
Thank you for your service!

Monthly Ward Temple Trip - April

Every month, our goal is to visit the temple as a ward to perform temple ordinances for the living and in behalf of the dead.

Various members attended the endowment session and the baptism for the dead.

Today was Sister Neri Tolentino's first time performing temple ordinances. She shared her feelings
"First time po namin na pamilya makapunta ng Temple. Pero may idea na po ako how it looks like. Sa picture palang ay sobrang ganda na po ito sa aking paningin. Nagpapa salamat po ako na binigyan ako ng pagkakataon na makapasok ng Temple at makapag perform para sa baptism for the dead. At first, ako po ay excited at kinakabahan pero mula po pagbaba namin ng service puro "wow" nalang po ang aking nabanggit. 😊

Her husband, Brother Jhay Ar stayed in the temple annex to watch his kids. He is preparing to receive his own temple recommend in the near future and we invited him to visit the temple lobby and spare a sacred moment there. He also share his feelings inside the lobby and his goal to be sealed in the temple as a family: "Napakaganda po ng temple at andun talaga yung Spirit of God. Talagang napaka sacred po talaga ng temple. Excited po ako na magkaroon ng Temple Recommend at mag papatuloy kami ng family ko na magsimba at ini expect ko na may isang member pa ako ng family na mabinyagan sa chuch. At pangarap rin namin mag asawa na makasal sa temple."

Truly, the temple is the only place on the earth where families can be sealed for time and all eternity.

We encourage everyone to visit the Manila Philippines Temple.

Sister Francisquita Lopez & Nathalie Conopio's Baptism.

We are grateful to announce that Francisquita Lopez and Nathalie Conopio have entered the waters of baptism and become members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Through baptism, they have made sacred covenants with Heavenly Father to follow Jesus Christ, keep His commandments, and take His name upon them.

Sister Francisquita Lopez is Brother Danilo Lopez's mother and he was patiently waiting for her to accept the gospel as he was assigned to perform her baptism.

Sister Nathalie shared her feelings during her baptism:
"I feel so blessed and clean. Naiyak po agad ako kanina noong pumasok po ako sa cr pagkatapos ko po mabinyagan, I don't even know how to explain why, but i know that is because of the Holy Ghost. I'm really grateful also because i know that baptism is one of the way para po mas mapalapit ako sa Diyos. This is me now and who i am now because of my willingness to be baptized to the true church of Jesus Christ.

I know that Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father Love us all.

I leave it in the name of Lord Jesus Christ,
Amen!"

We warmly invite all members and friends to welcome and support them as they continue on the covenant path with faith and devotion.

Primary Activity: Mother's Day Flower Making

The primary children participated in a special Mother’s Day activity designed to encourage creativity and appreciation for their mothers.

During the activity, the children colored paper flowers using bright and cheerful colors. They carefully decorated each flower with their own unique designs and artistic styles.

After coloring, the children arranged their paper flowers in vases to create beautiful floral displays. The activity allowed the children to express their love and gratitude for their mothers while also developing their creativity, fine motor skills, and teamwork.

The children were excited and actively engaged throughout the activity. They enjoyed choosing colors, decorating the flowers, and proudly arranging them into lovely bouquets. The completed flower arrangements were colorful and meaningful gifts prepared with care for Mother’s Day.

Overall, the activity was enjoyable, creative, and successful in helping the children celebrate and honor their mothers.
