DO NOT BE DECEIVED โ€” Stand firm in truth even when others wonโ€™t.

Value the One who provides everything. Seek God above all, for we serve the Creator, not the creation for idolatry begins when anything comes before Him.

Remember: the wicked will not inherit His Kingdom.

Dear children, be followers of God. In serving the Lord, we donโ€™t need the worldโ€™s approval โ€” only His. Stay focused on His face, so you will not be deceived.

There are things we still doโ€”though we donโ€™t want toโ€”because we havenโ€™t surrendered what we cannot tame. The tongue, โ€œ๐š๐ง ๐ฎ๐ง๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ž๐ฏ๐ข๐ฅ, ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐ž๐š๐๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ข๐ฌ๐จ๐งโ€ (๐‰๐š๐ฆ๐ž๐ฌ ๐Ÿ‘:๐Ÿ–), can only be transformed when we place it in Godโ€™s hands.

Use your tongue for thanksgiving, not cursing.
Give it to Jesusโ€”He can tame what feels uncontrollable.
Untie it, release it, and surrender it to Him.

We all face the three monsters of life:
๐‹๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐„๐ฒ๐ž๐ฌโ€”desires that seduce and lead to sin
๐‹๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐…๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ๐ก
๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‹๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž

To overcome these monsters, we must release, untie, and fully surrender them to the Lord.
Let God control your lifeโ€”not your monsters.

Even Jesus faced temptation in His humanity (Hebrews 2:14).
Yet, through the cross, He set free all who were slaves to sin.

We are deeply grateful for the inspiring message shared by Rev. Joel Payapa during our JOBHM 14th Church Anniversary, with the word of God entitled โ€œThe Price of Pressing on the Heavenly Call.โ€

Philippians 3:14 reminded us to remain steadfast in our faith and to pursue the divine calling with perseverance and dedication. Truly, pressing on toward Godโ€™s purpose comes with a priceโ€”but the reward is eternal.
