Our Sunday Message Series shared about being a radical Christian through PRAYER 🙏

Being a radical Christian, especially through prayer, is not about being loud for show, but to be genuine in the sight of Jesus. God doesn't call for performance, but simply, to be His child when we talk to Him.

Radical prayer is not only real, but also bold. Hindi mo kailangan magpa-impress kay Jesus. But our bold prayers are just you being open, honest and real with Him. Sometimes, it looks like, " Lord, masama ang loob ko.", "Mabigat ang puso ko.", or even. "Salamat Panginoon." All of those prayers still count.

And ultimately, prayer is our intimate communication with the Lord, not an open stage. God wants all of us, and He wants a close relationship with us. Let's build a real, bold, and intimate relationship with Jesus through our Radical Prayers 🔥
Matthew 6:7 says: "And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words
Hebrews 4:16 "Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."..

Our topic this month is about being Radical For Christ. So, ano ba ang ibig sabihin ng "Radical for Christ"? 🤔 Dati, ang alam natin sa "radical for Jesus" ay tayo ang nagpeperform or gumagawa ng mga bagay na mukhang "holy" or "Godly". Pero the "old you", the "self-made you", the "me first you" was nailed to the Cross with Christ. Kaya nung sinabi ni Paul na, "I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I but Christ lives in me. And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me." (Galatians 2:20), He is saying that our life is now hidden inside Jesus' life.

Ngayon, paano tayo magiging radical for Jesus? Hindi dahil sa ating performance, mga gawaing mukhang makaDios. But we become radical by believing the verse, that Christ died for you and covered your sins, is true. Hindi ka na magdedepend lagi sa feelings mo, sa image mo, sariling mong kakayaan, but instead, you let the Gospel of Christ dictate what happens in your life. The Gospel ''calls the shots" now. Hindi na tayo nabubuhay sa pansariling kagustuhan natin, kundi para lamang kay Christ na namatay para sa atin ☝️

Being radical looks like this: Jesus is the only One who gets the credit, the crown, and the honor. So, that means our obedience is a response to grace, not a way to earn our points from God. In the first place we are already His; you never needed to earn being His child.

Be radical in a simple way. Maniwala ka sa sinasabi ni God tungkol sayo. Speak it, and let your choices line up with the One living inside of you 🫵
