We invite you to join us as we witness the Rite of Installation of our New Parish Priest & Rector, Rev. Fr. Fernando B. Radin Jr., OFM this coming August 22, 2025, Friday. The Eucharistic Celebration will be at 9:00 in the morning to be presided by His Excellency, Most Rev. Elias L. Ayuban Jr., CMF, DD.

In this sacred rite of installation, we entrust to him the spiritual care of our community, confident in his dedication to guide with humility and faith. As he takes on this new mission, may he lead us closer to Christ and strengthen our bonds as one church. Let us witness this historic and momentous event in the life of our church!

The Restorative Justice Ministry (RJM) of the Diocese of Cubao, under the leadership of our new Priest Minister, Fr. Ricky Montañez, AA, conducted a pastoral visitation in collaboration with the diocesan RJM team, seminarians from San Jose Seminary, and volunteers from the Basilica Minore de San Pedro Bautista Restorative Justice Ministry and the Young Franciscan Advocates from Novaliches and Frisco.

The pastoral visit began with a Eucharistic Mass at the Quezon City Jail Male Dormitory in Payatas, Quezon City. The Mass started at 8:30 AM on August 17, 2025.

Later that same day, the team also visited the Molave Youth Home, a Bahay Pag-asa (rehabilitation center for children in conflict with the law) located in Payatas. Before the celebration of the Mass, Br. Gailbert Bosea delivered a catechesis on the Seven Sacraments of the Catholic Church. The visit concluded with the celebration of the Holy Mass.

As part of this mission, the RJM of the Diocese of Cubao donated Mass kits to both the Quezon City Jail and the Molave Youth Home to support ongoing pastoral and sacramental activities.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Basilica Minore de San Pedro Bautista for their generous donation of goods for the children in conflict with the law. Their continued support plays a vital role in our mission of mercy and restoration.

The Restorative Justice Ministry of the Basilica Minore de San Pedro Bautista held its General Assembly on July 20, 2025, at the Portiuncula Formation Hall.

The program began with a Bible Sharing and a creative liturgy, offering a meaningful reflection on the Gospel reading. This was followed by a kumustahan session to reconnect and renew each member's commitment to serving the Church and the community.

A Gospel reflection and a short dialogue with our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Fernando B. Radin Jr., OFM, highlighted the roles and responsibilities of the ministry. This was followed by a nomination process to begin the discernment of the ministry’s next set of leaders. The assembly concluded with a final blessing.

We are deeply grateful to all members who attended and showed their continued support for the ministry. Despite the challenges brought by Tropical Storm Crising, which prevented some members from joining the assembly. The mission of the Restorative Justice Ministry continues with faith and dedication.

Day 9 of Simbang Hapon

The last day of Simbang Hapon or the Novena in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary was presided by Rev. Fr. Fernando Radin Jr., OFM Postulant Director OFM SPB, YFA National Spritual Adviser and OFM JPIC Animator. The mass was sponsored by the Young Franciscan Advocates in coordination with the Restorative Justice Ministry of our parish.

The group also donated 200 packs of personal hygiene kit for the Person's Deprived with Liberty in Quezon City Jail.

Day 7 of Novena in Honor of our Blessed Virgin Mary

The seventh day of novena in honor of our mother Blessed Virgin Mary was presided by Rev. Fr. Percival Tayem, OFM of Basilica Minore de San Pedro Bautista together with our parish volunteers and Young Franciscan Advocates.

The mass celebration was attended by the BJMP Officers, staff, internship program student from Philippine College of Criminology (PCCR) and together with the 177 Person's Deprived wirh Liberty (PDL).

We would like to thank our mass sponsor for that day, for helping our brothers and sisters in Quezon City Female Jail Dormitory in Camp Karingal. To make this season more spiritual and prayerful as we prepare for the celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We would like to thank the Legion of Mary, Mother of Unity Junior Curia for sharing their blessing at Molave Youth Home last November 25, 2023, and choosing to conduct their first apostolate program with the Children in Conflict with law

Last November 13-17, 2023, the CBCP Episcopal Commission on Prison Pastoral Care held its National Covention at the Angel's Hills Retreat House in Tagatay City with the participants from different diocese and linkages from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao with a theme of "The Correctional Community: Journeying Together in mutual support on a mission of love."

After a week of training, workshop and seminars the last day was also the turnover of Chairmanship of the Commission from Bishop Joel Zamudio Baylon, DD who served the commission for six years and now officially turnover to Bishop Oscar Jaime Florencio, DD as a new Chairman.
