𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕 𝑻𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒔 𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝑭𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒚

On July 5, 2026, the Cubao Cathedral Ministry of Altar Servers gathered at the Obispado de Cubao for its Parents and Altar Servers’ General Assembly, bringing together altar servers and their families in a spirit of faith, unity, and service.

The assembly introduced the ministry’s officers and committees, and presented the activities and programs planned through the remainder of 2026. It was also a meaningful opportunity to strengthen our shared commitment to serving Christ and His Church as one family.

The gathering was led by Bro. John Paul Castañares, Guardian of the Ministry of Altar Servers; together with Nathaniel Pascual, Ministry Coordinator.

May the Lord continue to guide and bless our ministry as we grow together in faith and joyful service.

Planning with purpose, serving with faith.

The officers and committees of the Ministry of Altar Servers, and its guardian Bro. JP Castañares, gathered for a planning session to map out activities and initiatives for the remainder of 2026. Together, we reflected on our mission, discussed our goals, and explored ways to continue growing in service to God and His Church.

As we prepare for the months ahead, may our plans be guided by wisdom, unity, and a sincere desire to serve at the Lord’s altar with dedication, humility, and joy. May every step we take bring us closer to Christ and strengthen our ministry as one family in faith.

Happy Episcopal Anniversary, Bishop Nes

Today, we celebrate the Episcopal Ordination Anniversary of Most Rev. Honesto F. Ongtioco, DD, Bishop Emeritus of Cubao.

We thank God for his years of faithful episcopal ministry, inspiring pastoral leadership, and dedicated service to the Church. His unwavering commitment to Christ’s mission has touched countless lives and contributed greatly to the growth and development of the Diocese of Cubao.

As we honor this special milestone, let us keep Bishop Nes in our prayers, asking the Lord to continue blessing him with good health, peace, joy, and abundant grace.

𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 | Launching of the Cubao Youth Cross Visitation and Taize Prayer at The Cubao Cathedral

On June 14, the Diocese of Cubao officially launched the Cubao Youth Cross Visitation in preparation for World Youth Day 2027 in Seoul, South Korea. Led by the Cubao Cathedral Youth Ministry (CCYM) at The Cubao Cathedral, the event gathered young people in prayer and faith as they began this meaningful spiritual journey.

The celebration included the Welcome Rites led by Rev. Fr. Frederic Rocha, the Welcoming Mass for the Diocesan Youth Cross presided over by Most Rev. Elias L. Ayuban Jr., CMF, DD, Bishop of Cubao, and a Taizé Prayer led by Rev. Fr. Ruel Jumao-as, FSA.

As the Diocesan Youth Cross journeys through parishes and youth communities across the Diocese, may it inspire young people to deepen their faith and embrace their call as missionary disciples.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng kabataang mula sa Ministry of Altar Servers, SOCCOM, Legion of Mary Youth, at kabataang mula sa iba't ibang parokya na nakiisa sa pag-welcome sa Diocesan Youth Cross sa The Cubao Cathedral!

Nawa'y magsilbing paalala ang Youth Cross na patuloy tayong maging ilaw ng pag-asa, instrumento ng pagkakaisa, at mga kabataang handang tumugon sa tawag ng Diyos.
