Completeness in following Jesus

Matthew 19:21
[21]Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect (complete), go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
*NOTHING CAN EVER FILL THE VOID IN OUR BEING BUT ONLY BY COMING AND FOLLOWING THE LORD. THAT'S THE ONLY TIME WE CAN BE COMPLETE (PERFECT) NOT IN THIS WORLD BUT IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.

Matthew 19:22-23 NIV
[22] When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. [23] Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.

*It is hard to follow the Lord when are "rich" (full of ourselves: Pride)

Matthew 19:24-30 NIV
[24] Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
* We are able to follow Jesus through HUMILITY

[25] When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
*It's impossible for humans to be sincerely humble:
He can be humble in actions and gestures but would still be full of pride in heart
*What is true humility

1 Peter 5:5-7 NIV
[5] In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”a [6] Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. [7] Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

[26] Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

*True humility is possible with God
Philippians 2:13 KJV
[13] For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

1 Corinthians 15:10 KJV
[10] But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

*What's in it for us?
[27] Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?” [28] Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. [29] And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wifea or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. [30] But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.

Conclusion:
We maybe righteous in our own ways but we are never and never will be complete without Jesus.
We will always be lacking in weight and measure.
Our own righteousness are just filthy rugs in his sight. Only his righteousness imputed on us through faith can make us perfect and complete.
Jesus is inviting us to leave everything behind and follow him towards the great price of our calling. Eternal life with him.

Chapter 16: The atonement ceremony
- Aaron the priest shall enter into the Tabernacle of congregation with a young bullock for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering
- He will wear the holy linen coat, linen girdle and linen pants and will put on his linen mitre after he washed
- He will take from the congregation two goats and will cast lots on it. One to be burnt for a sin offering and one to be the scapegoat.
- He will enter the holy veil with a censer containing the fire from the altar and put sweet ncense on it when he enters beyond the veil. The smoke should be over the mercy seat
- He shall take the blood of the bullock and sprinkle it's blood on it with his finger on the east side of the mercy seat.
-He shall also sprinkle the blood in front of the mercy seat seven times
- He shall do the same with the blood of the goat
- The priest makes an atonement in the holy place for his sins and his family's sin and for the sin of all the Congregation of Israel.
- There shouldn't any man in the Tabernacle until the priest completes the atonement ceremony
- The priest the shall put the blood of the bullock and the blood of the goat on the horns of the altar and sprinkle the blood on the altar seven times and hallow it.
-after the holy place, The Tabernacle of the congregation and the altar is reconciled, He will take the live goat.
- He will put his hands over the goat and confess his sins and the sins of the congregation of Israel and the goat will carry the sins. he will hand it over to a fit (ready) man who will release the goat into the wilderness

Comment: so much things to do just for them to obtain mercy from God and cleanse Israel of their sins and yet most of us christians now often never notice how serious obtaining forgiveness of our sins is.
Jesus already died on the cross and has done atonement for our sins with his sinless blood and yet most us takes it for granted. We live our lives with a simple " Sorry/ forgive me Lord" and still go back to our sinful ways. Stop compromising.

“A thousand times I’ve failed. Still your mercy remains. And should I stumble again. Still I’m caught in your grace.”
That’s so true, no matter how many times I’ve failed, GOD is still there loving and guiding me.
If you have made a mistake and the enemy is taunting you, or if you are in a pit of guilt, the Lord wants you to know that He loves you.
The Lord says, “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you. Again I will build you and you will be rebuilt.” Jeremiah 31:3-4
He will rebuild all that the enemy has destroyed in your life. All you have to do is run to the arms of Jesus, confess your sins to Him, and ask for His forgiveness. He will forgive you and help you overcome your sin and lead you in the path of righteousness.

When you believe in Jesus, you don’t have to be afraid of death. But you also don’t have to be afraid to live in a world that seems to be spinning out of control. Find out why in today’s devotional. https://bit.ly/4eUByeC

Miracle Life

I am always thankful to the Lord for the second life He has given me.

I was born a premature baby, and my journey into this world wasn’t easy. From the very beginning, life was uncertain. I was born with a heart condition, and my parents were told that I was only 50/50—that I might not make it. It was one of the hardest times for my family. But even in that dark and fragile moment, God showed up. He proved that He is faithful, powerful, and good. He gave me another chance at life.

That’s why my name, El Grace, means “Ang Biyaya” (The Grace). My life is a living testimony of God’s grace and mercy.

Now, here I am—still standing, still breathing, and now serving God. I may feel undeserving and unworthy at times, but His goodness and love continue to sustain me.

I am a miracle, not because of anything I’ve done, but because of everything He has done. All glory to God for the life I live today!

Hebrews 11:5-6 NIV
[5] By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was COMMENDED AS ONE WHO PLEASED GOD. [6] And without faith it is impossible to PLEASE God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he REWARDS those who earnestly seek him.

Genesis 15:1 NIV
[1] After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Do not be afraid, Abram. I AM YOUR SHIELD, YOUR VERY GREAT REWARD."
