Join us every Sunday at 8:30 AM in West Kamias, Quezon City and Pulilan, Bulacan. STATEMENT OF FAITH
1. We believe in the plenary-verbal inspiration of the accepted canon of Scriptures as originally given. The Holy Scripture, composed of the 39 books of the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament, is infallible, inerrant, and the sole and final authority for all matters of faith and co
nduct (2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Corinthians 2:13).
2. We believe in the Eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as one God, eternally existing in Three Persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – co-eternal in Being, co-identical in Divine Nature, co-equal in power and glory, distinguishable but indivisible (Matthew 28:19; John 14:1-17, 16:7-32; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
3. We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the Eternal Son of God; He became man without ceasing to be God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary (Luke 1:26-35; John 1:1,14-18; Isaiah 7:14, 9:6).
4. We believe Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day as a subtitutionary sacrifice to accomplish our redemption, and that He personally appeared unto His disciples (1 Corinthians 15:1-5; Romans 4:25).
5. We believe in the literal, bodily ascension of Jesus Christ to heaven, His exaltation at the right hand of God, where, as our High Priest, He fulfills the ministry of being our Great Intercessor and Advocate (Acts 1:9; Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25, 9:24; 1 John 2:1).
6. We believe in the literal, physical, and personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ to establish the Messianic Millennial Kingdom on earth in fulfillment of the promises to Israel; and that before this He will come for His glorious Bride, the Church; the dead in Christ to be resurrected and together with those alive be translated into glorified state (Jeremiah 33:14-15; Daniel 7:13-14; John 14:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, 5:9-10; Revelation 3:10).
7. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as a real experience at or subsequent to salvation which may be evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and in the operation of the Gifts of the Spirit as enumerated in 1 Corinthians 12-14 (Acts 2:1-4, 8::14-17, 10:44-46).
8. We believe in the creation, test, and fall of man as recorded in Genesis, and that man is totally depraved and thus of himself utterly unable to remedy his lost condition (Ephesians 2:1-3; Romans 3:10-18, 22-23, 5:12, 18, 8:3).
9. We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace through faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross in Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins (Romans 5:11; Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12,22, 10:5-14).
10. We believe in the bodily resurrection and judgment of all men – the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to everlasting punishment in hell ( Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; John 3:16, 5:24, 28-29, 11:25-26; 2 Thessalonians 1:9; Revelation 20:6, 10-15).
11. We believe in the ultimate triumph of God’s Kingdom (Isaiah 65:17, 66:22; Revelation 7:9-12, 21:1-5).
12. We believe in the observance of the two ordinances the Lord Jesus Christ gave us - the Water Baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Table or Lord’s Supper commonly called the Communion for believers – in remembrance of His person and work ( Matthew 3:13-17, 28:19; Acts 19:1-6; 1 Corinthians 11:23-32).
13. We believe that under the sovereign Headship of the Lord Jesus Christ there is one true Universal Church of genuine believers and that this is composed of many local churches in given localities. These local churches while governed on the concept of plurality or multiplicity of eldership (1 Timothy 5:17, Hebrews 13:17) administering all its local affairs and ministries, are Autonomous in that they are : a) Self-Governing; b) Self-Supporting, following God’s financial system – the Tithes; and c) Self-Propagating; with the responsibility of adhering to God’s command to be fruitful and multiply filling up the earth (Genesis 1:28), and in going into all the world preaching the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15).
14. We believe that the government of the land is an authority established by God and the rulers are ordained of Him to us for good. To resist the powers and ordinances is to resist the ordinance of God. We, therefore, declare our loyalty and patriotism to the Republic of the Philippines and its leaders and we commit to assist in every way possible consistent with our faith in the Scriptures as Christian citizens (Romans 13).
