Saint Rose of Lima, born Isabel Flores de Oliva, was a mystic and the first canonized saint born in the Americas. As a dedicated Dominican Tertiary (a lay member of the Third Order of Saint Dominic), she chose a life of strict virginity, severe ascetic penance, and profound contemplative prayer while remaining within her family's home in Lima, Peru. Today, her legacy is celebrated worldwide on her feast day of August 23.

The Our Father Parish Pastoral Care for Grandparents & Elderly Ministry (PCGEM) invites all Senior Citizens and Elderly to come together for a meaningful day of faith, fellowship, learning, and care at our TOFP Community of the Elderly Assembly on August 21, 2026 (Friday) at the Main Church.
