As we continue our August sermon series, God calls us not only to wait for Christ and serve faithfully, but also to witness with wisdom and endurance.

WITNESSING WITH WISDOM AND ENDURANCE
Text: Luke 12:54โ€“56; Galatians 6:9

Jesus challenges His followers to discern the times and respond faithfully. Christian witness requires more than boldnessโ€”it requires wisdom to understand the moment and endurance to keep doing what is right.

Sometimes the results are not immediate.
Sometimes people do not listen.
Sometimes doing good becomes tiring.

But Scripture reminds us:
โ€œLet us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.โ€
โ€” Galatians 6:9

So keep witnessing.
Keep doing good.
Keep trusting God.
Do not give up.

โ€œI have come to bring fire on the earthโ€ฆโ€ โ€” Luke 12:49โ€“53

Last Sunday, we were reminded that following Christ is not always comfortable. Jesus came with a mission, and that mission demands courage, commitment, and complete allegiance to Him.

๐Ÿ”ฅ The Cross reminds us: Following Christ can be costly, but He is worthy of our faithfulness.
โš”๏ธ The Division reminds us: Our commitment to Christ must come before everything else.
๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ The Holy Spirit empowers us: We are not called to witness in our own strength, but through His power.

Our theme reminds us:

WAITING โ€ข SERVING โ€ข WITNESSING

While we wait for Christ, we serve faithfully.
As we serve, we witness boldly.
And as we witness, we remain faithful to Christโ€”even when following Him is difficult.

May we have the courage to stand for Christ, the faithfulness to serve Him, and the boldness to make Him known.

God does not measure our service by how visible or impressive it appears. He calls us to be faithful with what He has entrusted to us.

From Luke 12:41โ€“48, we are reminded:

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ STAY AWAKE.
Spiritual alertness shows that we take our calling seriously.

โค๏ธ BE FAITHFUL.
Faithfulness in what God has entrusted to us today prepares us for greater responsibility tomorrow.

๐Ÿ™Œ EXPECT ACCOUNTABILITY.
Everything entrusted to us carries responsibility. One day, we will give an account of how we used what God placed in our hands.

As we continue our August theme, โ€œWaiting, Serving, Witnessing,โ€ may we never forget:

We are not merely waiting for the Master.
We are serving while we wait.
And we are called to be faithful until He comes.

โ€œBlessed is that servant whom his master will find doing so when he comes.โ€
โ€” Luke 12:43
