BUILDING COMMUNITIES OF MERCY

Part 2: The Day Itself — 700 Hearts, One Community of Mercy
The long-awaited day finally arrived! At 6:00 AM, our registration team was already at St. Joseph Shrine, ready to welcome delegates from different parishes and communities.
Seeing nearly 700 delegates filled us with joy and excitement. The morning came with unexpected challenges long lines, missing IDs, limited space, and fewer hands to assist.
It wasn't perfect, but it reminded us that service is not about perfection. It is about patience, teamwork, and helping one another.
Despite the challenges, we continued with willing hearts, grateful to see so many people gathered in faith and devotion to Jesus, the King of Divine Mercy.
Jesus, King of Divine Mercy, we trust in You!

A JOURNEY OF MERCY BEGINS
Every successful event has a story that begins long before the actual day. Behind the smiles, the gathering, and the celebration are people who quietly worked, prepared, and served.
As we look back on the 5th Cubao Diocesan Apostolic Congress on Mercy, let us revisit the journey that brought us together.
Part 1: The Preparation
Long before the 5th Cubao Diocesan Apostolic Congress on Mercy began, the work had already started.
For nearly three months, the DMP–Cubao team and everyone involved worked together through meetings, Zoom conferences, and countless preparations. On August 19, we gathered to pack the registration kits, and on August 21, we held our final meeting and venue check at St. Joseph Shrine.
Behind the gathering of around 700 delegates were many hands, many hours, and many hearts willing to serve. Every task big or small was part of making the Congress possible.
It reminded us that building communities of mercy begins even before the event itself with people who are willing to serve, cooperate, and offer their time and effort for others.
The Congress had not yet begun, but the mission of mercy was already at work. ❤️🙏
