Merciful Jesus, on this Divine Mercy Sunday,
we come before You aware of our frailty,
yet trusting in the ocean of love
flowing from Your pierced Heart.

In spite of our weaknesses, You never tire of forgiving.
Let Your mercy fall upon the world like gentle rain,
bringing peace to troubled lands
and hope to weary hearts.

Grant that we may have hearts like Yours-
patient in suffering,
compassionate to the broken,
and generous in love.

Touch the minds and hearts of our leaders;
purify their intentions,
that they may seek the good of all
and work for unity among nations.

Heal our divided world, O Lord,
and pour upon us the graces we need,
so that we may become instruments
of Your mercy to the farthest ends of the earth.

Jesus, King of Mercy,
