IEMELIF National Kalalakihan/Kababaihan Convention 2026

By the grace and faithfulness of God, the joint Kababaihan and Kalalakihan Convention was successfully held in the cool and refreshing highlands of Baguio City from May 14 to May 16, 2026. Bringing together the leadership and members of our men's and women's ministries alongside our dedicated church workers, the three-day gathering served as a powerful avenue for spiritual renewal, leadership empowerment, and communal fellowship.

A total of 384 registered delegates attended the convention, representing various local churches and districts. The event successfully fostered a deep sense of unity, preparing our leaders to return to their respective stations with renewed strength and a steadfast spirit.

The core message of the convention revolved around the theme, “Anchored in Christ, Rising Amid Challenges,” beautifully drawn from 1 Corinthians 15:58.

As they left the highlands of Baguio, the Kalalakihan, Kababaihan, and church workers carried with them a collective conviction to stay immovable, to labor cheerfully, and to remain securely anchored in Christ, ready to rise above any challenge that lies ahead.IEMELIF

“Handa Ka Na Ba? Tara Na, Hayo Na!”

Sharing the word of God is an act of profound love. It requires us to step beyond our comfort zones, bridge gaps within our communities, and witness to the truth of the Gospel. When we invest in missions, we are investing in the spiritual renewal of our nation and the strengthening of the global body of Christ.

In a significant effort to equip future church workers and expand our outreach initiatives, the Kagawaran ng Misyon at Ebanghelisasyon conducted the IMP 1.0 training session with the theme, “Handa Ka Na Ba? Tara Na, Hayo Na!” this past April 13–17, 2026, bringing together participants at the IEMELIF Mission Center in Novaliches, Quezon City.

Among our thirty-four (34) delegates from across the districts, the Spirit is clearly moving - six (6) individuals have expressed a calling to the pastoral ministry, while five (5) others have committed to serving as deaconesses. Please join us in supporting these future leaders as they prepare for a lifetime of service

Our nation is currently navigating a season of significant challenges, particularly regarding the widespread issue of corruption.

In response, our Church leadership felt called to provide spiritual and ethical guidance for Christians facing these concerns. Last October, in collaboration with the Committee on Social and Inter-Religious Concerns, we launched the 'Huwag kang Magnanakaw' statement on social media, followed by 'Espasyo,' an online forum tackling dishonesty and corruption in the society. We are grateful for these platforms that allow us to serve both our congregation and the broader community. Most recently, on April 19, we hosted 'ESPASYO: Langis at Pagtangis,' a forum focused on the conflict in the Middle East.

We praise God for the opportunity to engage with these critical social issues and offer support to all.
