ENDORSEMENT LETTER FROM ARCHBISHOP ABET UY FOR CFD - ARCHDIOCESE OF CEBU.

OFFICE OF THE NATIONAL SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR

Dear sisters & brothers

It is with great joy that I convey to you the news that H. E. ALBERTO “ABET” S. UY, D.D., Archbishop of Cebu and Bishop Protector of CFD, has issued a new ENDORSEMENT LETTER for the CATHOLIC FAITH DEFENDERS in the ARCHDIOCESE OF CEBU. This gives testimony to the FIDELITY and LEGITIMACY of CFD - Archdiocese of Cebu as a Catholic organization dedicated to the work of evangelization under the guidance of the Magisterium.

We are immensely grateful to H. E. Most Rev. Alberto “Abet” S. Uy, D. D. for granting CFD - Archdiocese of Cebu this Endorsement Letter. We once again pledge filial obedience to His Excellency and constant collaboration with him. We continue to pray for His Excellency.

I hope and pray that this generous gesture of our dear Archbishop Abet S. Uy will inspire and encourage all CFDs in the Archdiocese of Cebu (also those CFDs outside the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of Cebu) to be effective collaborators in the work of evangelization. The Endorsement Letter of our beloved Archbishop Abet should motivate us all. There are challenges in this apostolate but with the Archbishop’s blessing and support, we continue the work, and more valiant than ever. Let us remain united as we walk under the banner of truth and love.
