On this Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we are also celebrating the 69th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Miraculous Medal Apostolate Philippines.

It was established by the Vincentian Fathers and Brothers on August 15, 1957 to promote the devotion to the Immaculate Virgin Mary through the Miraculous Medal and to support the formation of the Vincentian Seminarians.

The Holy Mass was presided by Fr. Joel L. Rescober, CM, and concelebrated by Fr. John Wang, CM (Provincial Visitor of the Chinese Province) alongside the Vincentian priests. During the liturgy, our dear brothers professed their missionary vows and received their Mission Cross and Breviary as symbols of their faith and mission.

We pray for their unfailing faith and hope in the Transfigured Christ, perseverance in following the charism and mission of our patron, St. Vincent de Paul, and the constant maternal care of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.
